A senior Iranian cleric said in a Friday prayers sermon that the United States' navy fleet could be “destroyed with one missile”, as a US aircraft carrier headed to the Gulf, the semi-official news agency ISNA reported.

The carrier Abraham Lincoln, deployed by President Donald Trump's administration to the Middle East as a warning to Iran, passed through Egypts Suez Canal on Thursday, the Suez Canal Authority said.

“Ayatollah Yousef Tabatabai-Nejad,... referring to the Abraham Lincoln warship heading to the Gulf, said: 'Their billion (dollar) fleet can be destroyed with one missile'," ISNA reported from the central city of Isfahan.

Actually he is not "wrong". Iran has MRBM/IRBM with very large warheads which contain cluster warheads. These clusters can be spreads over a very wide area and could in theory, wipe out the surface of such combat fleets and take them out of service. They would not "destroy" the fleet, but why do you need to?

AEGIS will intercept and than carrier group with 70jets within single sortie will knock out all such capabilities

Well when the American were in control of our army within in Iran we didn't fear to stand up against them, the only thing you should be afraid is God the rest are null ... & Neocon and Zionist hawks don't need anything to beat the drums of war they could make it up like Iraq & not to mentioned they're just good at attacking defenseless countries ...
