USA is never a friend, only if there is same interest.

If USA is a friend, you can be sure they will leech on india for the maximum benefits, once india has no use, USA will kick india away.

In fact, if india doesn't have nukes and have oil, USA will probably invade india.

India is trying to leech from USA as well ; but still not given a chance to purchase F-35.

But eventually, USA will find that there is no benefits to be taken from India because india is still dysfunctional.
China will be more beneficial as a partner.
