Us F-35 Lightning II Grounded Again..!

All 20 U.S. F-35 Lightning IIs have
been grounded following a failure of the aircraft's integrated power
package (IPP). THE IPP ISSUE occurred in one of the U.S. Air Force's conventional takeoff
and landing F-35As, The incident took place at about 8:30
a.m. Aug. 2 at Edwards Air Force Base, Calif., during a ground maintenance
run of aircraft AF-4, the fourth
conventional takeoff and landing
version of the triservice Joint Strike Fighter. Following the failure of the IPP- which combines the functions
performed by an auxiliary power unit,emergency power system and
environmental controls - the crew shut down the aircraft as per standard operating procedures, according to a press release by the JSF program
office.

A mig 29k of indian navy crashed in russia the enquiry was setup on the whole fleet 2 su30 mki crashed in 13 years the whole fllet was grounded the reason y i say this is because grounding jets mean finding the problem n getting them back up its not like they are failed

This really draws to the table how everyone is talking about the F-35 as a finished product now and not realize it is still in the "Alpha phase" sort to speak.

This is F-35 not Mig-29 which after 28+ years of its service is going through troubles.

These problems get rectified during all stages of development.

If you are taking in context the mig 29k them am sory but it's not 28+ years old they are all new

Don't be mad. I'm merely telling those that delays are good in the sense all sort of small/big problems are resolved before mass scale manufacturing.

Most of Mig-29s are older as old as 20+ years in russian air force, indian air force (1983/84), formers mig-29s of Germany and so on, less then 50 (perhaps in development) are new models with newer airframe infact most airframes are same with same elements.
