What's new

US daily praises Narendra Modi, says Pakistan can't take India's restraint granted for long

India is to China for the U.S. what Pakistan was to Russia during the Cold War. They will offer the earth to India and sing their praises while nudging them to "counter" (be aggressive to) China.
Give it a few years, the U.S. will be playing the same "do more" mantra for India regarding China.
Some Indian members here recognise the repeating pattern, but most think that the U.S. respects and acknowledges India's prowess. A wake up call is of the essence that the U.S. respects no nation and does not consider anyone equal to it. And it'll make sure it stays that way.

Again Indian propaganda at its best...

Modi has been so good lately he is even restraining for Pakistan's benefit. Nawaz should invite him for some chai biscuits and another hug.

Not only India, no nation can equal US. US is important to India for a number of reasons. Growing diaspora of Indian Americans which can help to make decisions which will favour India. Most of the giant corporations are American so they are the source of investments in India. US can provide India with Industrial technology to help Indian manufacturing to reduce Chinese dominance and India badly needs technology. American defense products are of much better quality and reliability than Russian ones. Pakistan was relatively more powerful in the past mainly because of American weapons. Russia is losing its influence. History says capitalist countries in American camp have sponsored more than the socialist ones. Take example of North and South Korea.

lot of countries have solid working relationships with America - Japan, South korea, Taiwan, Singapore, Australia, NZ, Saudi Arabia, UAE, NATO members, UK and Israel

if the generals in Islamabad could not figure out how to establish a working relationship with Uncle Sam spare us the babble

India did the right thing not striking at Pakistan immediately for several reasons.

1, It showed trestraint to the he world that it india was is have given Pakistan everybofy opportunity to bring those responsible to justice to reign in its proxy wars of terror

2. Allows india tro build up more diplomatic pressure and tactics to isolate Pakistan further

3. Gives indian military time to build up reserves

4. Keeps Pakistan on edge by threatening strikes at time and location in the near future hencve Pakistan closing down airspace and flyimng fighters using up fuel resrves.

This is all good tactics SQUEEZE slowly keep turning screw buy keep playing the victim card too

Are we taking free lunches with US? NO
Are we fighting wars for US? NO
Is our foreign policy dependent on US? NO (Read Iran and Ukraine issue of Russia)
Are we going to fight China for US? LOL even americans will be fools to imagine that.

If chinese gave us a better deal then US, and aligned our interest with theirs, we will work with the Chinese. No issues over there.
