US conducts 2nd Minuteman 3 launch in a week

most powerful countries are in power projecting business these days.something great is cooking.

NK trying to play in the Major Leagues :coffee::rofl:

just one of our SSBN has enough firepower to turn to ash everything from the 38th parallel to the 39th parallel in NK

meanwhile they have what one type of ICBM that takes hours to setup, fuel, and launch, and it's reliability rate is less than 50% and they have maybe 1 at max 2 of them:rofl:

it's best missile system is the Musadan, but they don't have a nuclear warhead small enough to use on it, and even if they did it wouldn't reach the U.S mainland.

fat boy knows he's all talk.

Whats with night launches ?
Maybe secrecy?

If something goes wrong the population doesn't see it. There's less chance of it being captured on video (by either the local population or foreigners).

Maybe it has something to do with the temperature - perhaps higher temperatures mean a higher chance of the rocket failing (it's usually colder at night).

The response to "illegal" rocket launches is likely to be calmer and less severe. It might be hours after a launch before the president of the US/leaders of the EU/China /SK find out about a launch.

The rocket is less likely to get shot down as military surveillance systems probably won't be as active at night - and even if they're the command and control structures needed to intercept the missile probably won't be as effective ( I doubt the president of the US (or even a general) would take it kindly to be woken up at 2am about some crummy North Korean missile.).

Or maybe the fat boy just likes the night?
