People with my specialty the finance people and those for whom money matters the most the business people particularly business tycoons like Donald Trump see things from a very different prism, contrary to popular belief that these people don't count for all the variables, they actually do unfortunately its always in terms of money and not human life.
Just for a moment step back from the scenario, ask a question with the exception of a deep divide between red neck and rest of america, whatever decision trump has made as a president had they been against the very basic benefit of Americans or in favor? The job data, economic data the trade war, the pullout from Afghanistan all are pointing that Americans will benefit, they are benefiting even right now.
First will America pullout of Iraq, short answer yes, once they have secured the oil supply and the oil-fields in complete binding agreements, security can be handed over to contractors for pennies (well front companies run by many senators or those who fund the campaigns of these scums), and they can hire hired guns through their proxies in Bahrian/UAE and Arabs retired Pak Army men/NCO/JCOs, from Afghan Army, few African countries. Haven't the coward arabs been doing so for decades now, who curbed the uprising in Bahrain by shia majority????? why the coward ministers of the country remained in Pakistan for months? why leading newspapers ran ads for hiring of retired Pak Army people.
So yes America will move out of Iraq, however, world major oil goes through persian gulf think channel where most of the world oil supply moves. Guess who are the two largest oil consumers? definitely not america.
Decades ago Americans decided to defend this oil supply route unilaterally, which today mean exponential cost; china the leading importer of oil is not paying a dime to protect their own supply line. So how to fix that? Let me come to that in a bit. As for Americans themselves once the Scandinavian field is fully operational, Americans will have a much safer and trustworthy supply line and supplier, till then they have their own oil and reserves.
Now how to fix that?? lets runs wild theory, if I were in Americans shoes I will involve one of my deep friends who will ask me to kill one of their generals, a national hero who had become too powerful and popular for his own good, now killing of their national hero will have enough material to bend public opinion, attack a few oil tankers of arab registry carrying oil for china, wow many birds with one stone.
Chinese would want to ensure their supply line is safe, so would many other and thus the burden on US will be lessened, and cherry on top will be few coward nations will be sold billions of dollars worth junk in the name of arms and ammunition whom they are incapable of using and maintaining.
I have not discussed the impact of such an escalation on commodity trading, people have earned billions of dollars in last few days, question which country is at the forefront of commodity trading????
My conclusion we are a temperamental nation to the level of stupidity, we have this stupid notion of Ummah, strangely both blocs of this stupid ummah have funded separatist movement, sectarian violence and insurgency in Pakistan, not one of them has come up and supported our narrative of indian sponsored terrorism in Pakistan, Baluchistan. People in forces have established that many of the insurgent movements are sponsored by our "Beloved brothers" just to keep Pakistan unstable and dependent upon them.How many of our "beloved brothers" supported Pakistan, held rallies across their countries when there was foreign sponsored terrorism in Pakistan there were drone attacks regularly in Pakistan?
In fact whenever there is a terrorist attack in Iran, rallies were held in Tehran burning Pakistani flag and chanting slogans against Pakistan.
Pakistan has no friends, except Pakistan and people of Pakistan should not have any fealty to anyone except Pakistan. As far as I am concerned all these brotherly countries along their people and land don't matter a bit, I have only one identity that is Pakistan and I have only one nation that is Pakistani. No darn ummah.
War is coming no doubt about it, we too will have to get involved at some point, we will pay the price of war; but we will emerge and claim our rightful place in the world unlike the fate which is coming for the coward and back stabbing jerks.

With the benefit of hindsight would you say that the subject letter was issued indeed ? it was supposed to be a a forewarning for troops re-positioning (word mentioned in the letter) in view of the impending reprisals (with or without US consent) by Iran and not US-withdrawal. When it got leaked to the media a full-throated denial was issued.
