US is increasing the military buildup in the region as we speak B52 bombers are moving to the Diago Garcia. They are just re positioning their forces. Most European embassies have started to slowly move personals out.

After the Iraqi Parliament vote US was in a bad position so by doing this they are
making sure Iraqi Government and military supports them and controls militia groups as they move out. And its not like they are moving out right they may take their time.

Just checked the map, didn’t knew where is Diago Garcia.

Quite odd and off place. Why moving there ?

Here's my conspiracy theory....

Soleimani in exchange for US troops leaving their land bases could be a face saving deal for both belligerents.

Both could claim a victory of sorts.

US could maintain its naval presence and presence in other countries. Trump always wanted troops to come home but he couldn't just pull out without finding a way to keep the hawks happy in DC - maybe soleimani's head was the trade off.

In all honesty though, conspiracies aside, one thing is certain. Trump serves only one agenda, Trump's, and he'll do it Trump's way, without consulting anyone, and without even waiting for his team to catch up before he moves onto the next phase of his agenda.

They might be moving them out of iraq and into some other arab country for final battle against iran. Similar troop movement tactics as 1920 before world war 1. Muslim countries should avoid division and not fight wars among each other or provide bases.
