US astronaut tweets dazzling night-time picture of south India

The longest-living US astronaut on the International Space Station, Scott Kelly, tweeted a special photo from space on Monday. It went viral, getting 3,217 retweets and 6,287 likes.
And guess what! The dazzling photo captured a view of south India during night.On October 16, Kelly completed 383 days in space, surpassing US astronaut Mike Fincke’s record of 382 cumulative days.
On October 29, Kelly broke another record on his 216th consecutive day in space, when he surpassed astronaut Michael Lopez-Alegria’s record for the single-longest space flight by an American. Lopez-Alegria spent 215 days in space as commander of the Expedition 14 crew in 2006.
Kelly is scheduled to return to Earth on March 3, 2016. By then, he would have completed 522 days of living in space during four missions.
Spaceflight veteran Scott Kelly, who is in the midst of a year-long stint at the ISS, has been tweeting out photos of different places on earth whenever he is not on the job. Here is a small collection of photos tweeted by him till date.
