I am glad that we can interchange ideas more peacefully instead of in those atmosphere being accused as this or that.
If every muslim can see issues more broadly, there won't be any muslim in-fights any more or at least greatly reduced.
I have both muslim classmates in high school and college, and they are very moderate and since they are muslims in large cities in China. We still have a long way to go. However, indeed, historically and even today, many muslims were or are misled to believe China wants to prosecute muslims though that has never been the case.
We simply passively respond to do what we have to do to make the country peaceful. China is not anti-muslim. However, for modern Chinese, if they see more and more their own citizens become victims of islam fanatics, terrorists, you will be very likely to drive China to the other side.
Now the Chinese common people are a lot more powerful and can exert great pressure on CCP. In addition, I think Saudi Arabia really need control where they donate their money to. It seems that a lot of those money are into terrorists' hands.
China's mutual relationship with muslim countries is never and will never be based on religion. Even for the great relationship between China and Pakistan, Pakistan does not interfere (suggest or point fingers) how China deals with her internal muslim issues. Since we all know, that will be the worst thing any country can do to irritate China for foreign relationship.
