US approves sale of 22 Guardian drones to India

Quite a strategic shift in india's favour.... this purchase is.

22 is however a very low number.... india needs at least 10 times the drones for its forces...

The armed version is just around the corner... there should be no doubt about it.
Nobody should be surprised to learn that india would become second biggest US drone operator after the US.

Such things are the building blocks of strategic alliance between the US and india.... more weapon systems are coming from the US.... to enhance inter-operatability of these two strategic allies.

Propping up india as counter to China is key to the US global dominance and the indians know this... hence, playing hard to get.

Sino-Pak Axis is going to see renewed pressure both from media and politicos...


In a medium to long term this will only be good for Sino-Pak Axis...

Awaiting a new HALE UACV annoucement from Pak soon... and it will be locally built one... luckily Pak doesn't have billions to buy friends... so it is going to be good old Sino-Pak Axis yet again.

This is for the Indian Navy, which already operates IAI Searchers and IAI Heron.
The Indian Air Force also operate UAV in large numbers.

Yes you pay them and you are getting but you cant buy anything from Money and its just that India is pivotal for west to pursue their policies in future so that is the reason you are getting it from west, Russia is your old friend and mid east all needs is business.. many weapons we want from US by money but are not allowed to us.
