Son, the US has proved more times than ever that it achieves what it wants. The break-up of the expansionist Soviet Union by the United States was also good for the middle east. Most people here tend to forget that.

Yes a crusade in a broad global war agianst Islamic extremists. Though Libya is a different animal altogether. The U.S. was pretty much cornered by Europe and some Middle East countries to help there.

well,I support this new form of crusade,provided that it is led by a coalition,that not only destroys forces of evil,but also plays active role in re-building the infrastructure.You cannot just destroy everything and then expect its job accomplished.After sometime,these elements will grow up again.

i still think that USA innvading afghanistan and especially iraq was a mistake, however a war against yemen i think will be in favour for all the people in europe and USA!

what is the drones going to help in? nothing, you need troops there, beside the country is a mess right now.

I fully support the US invasion of Afghanistan.The way the radical talibans were going,it was necessary to control them.These talibans even helped Osama bin Laden,the person directly responsible for many bombings including 9/11.

But,I personally think invasion of Iraq was unnecessary.The entire invasion was based on either false information or deception.Saddam Hussain was no saint,but then there are other ways to handle with that rather than an invasion.I remember,Saddam Hussain allowed the IAEA inspectors multiple times to search through the nuclear installations,he even flew to US to meet Bush Jr. to avoid war.But then,Bush Jr. just had to go to war.If this is not war-mongering then what is??


Regarding Yemen,well the US forces are not invading Yemen,they are just bombing the Al-Qaida targets,as of now.

Also in the Iraq-Iran war US was the ally of Iraq. US was the country which encouraged Iraq's war on Iran. Remember the pictures of Saddam and Rumsfeld shaking hands. Before the second gulf war , Iraq was a country where children were dying because tough sanctions on the country. It was in no situation to develop those staff you are claiming. That is why long search after the invasion did not find any WMD. Nothing, zilch. .. These reasons are all pretext for justification....

Not really an ally of Iraq, but we didn't want them losing to Iran either. I was around at the time and the feeling was "a pox on both thier houses"

hahaha very funny, US didn't even fight Russia to protect Georgia, and don't forget Russia is 100 times weaker than the Soviet Union, and you think they will attack the Soviet Union, when the Soviets had the most powerful land army and the second most powerful Air force and Navy in the world.

We are a very capable military and we have the right to defend innocent people thru the whole world.

you know why EU dont want us? dont talk if you dont, and your government actually keeps pressure on EU to accept turkey.

and just to say it, we have the second most powerfull army in nato! why would turkey be kicked out of nato? beside we are the only country close to midle east and that have good relations with some of the countries there!
