They just want to keep Pakistan busy on LOC so Pakistan couldnt focus on Balochistan and FATA and its resources remain stretched and secondly they think that by heating up LOC they will somehow also deter the freedom movement in IOK

What were State of Patiala's forces doing in Kashmir?

They were there before the arrival of Tribals.

Again, tribals went in after Maharaja had already started the massacre. Your troops, on the other hand, went in to defend his autocratic rule. Avoid defending the indefensible just because its your country which is the oppressor.

That's nonsensical for two reasons:

First and foremost, these irregulars volunteered on their own accord. It's not like Jinnah would have been able to stop them, I'm sure you know of the zeal that many of us can have when it comes to warfare.

Secondly, the Maharaja's intentions from the get go were to not join Pakistan, hence why he engaged in his crackdowns upon the Muslim population. The subsequent intervention from Pakistani paramilitaries as well as eventually the army itself were perfectly justified in light of this.

2. the terrorists from Pakistan will not accept they are terrorists - because they are killed not caught
