Urdu words but not Really (^｡^)

A lot of foreign words we using ( not common one ) sometime surprised me oww that’s actually was an English word or Turkish Persian Arabic etc.
little different accents but we using it as normal, for example PANTALOON we saying it “ Patloon “ actually an Italian word ( a man ‘s close fitting garment or women’s buggy trousers).

I didn’t knew BAJI is a Turkish word with same meaning we using and BEGUM, YALGAR are also Turkish words.

“ Dekko “ mean a quick glance in Urdu “ Dekho “
“ Charpoy “ known as Charpai meaning light bedstead in English.

I come up with some more words I forget and can’t remember now.

Please share if you guys know any amazing common Urdu word but not actually.

Sultan ~ Turkish
Shah ~ Turkish common name in Pakistan
Al Raheem ~ Arrra-Heem (Just wrong pronounciation by most Pakistanis)
Azadi ~ Seems to be driven from Persian
Arde Pakistan ~ Arad Arabic world ~ Earth

Someone would have to be a scholor to find similarities but I switched to Iranian channel once in while and noticed their speech is very similar my brain starts to tell me I can understand it but then I can't

It is well understood that Urdu has a tones of borrowed words from Persian and some common words may have carried over all way from Turkish lands

This is actually a Turkish meal , I always thougt this was Middle eastern fast food but seems like it's origin goes back to Turkey

There is hardly a word which Urdu can claim as it's own. Urdu itself is a Turkish word. Almost all of Urdu's words are loan words.

PANTALOON

This word came to Urdu via English. In English the word has become archaic. Pants is the preferred word and in Urdu it has become pent.

My limited cross language studies - this includes words which make it into Swahili.
Sabum, Kalam, Sandook, Baru, Layle (Tulip - very much used by Iqbal and Hafiz), Sukur, Chai (ever common), zulum, kosh, dariya, samadar, Ordu.
Swahili, Azeri, Urdu have similarilities are these are hybrid languages.

There are many English words adopted from Arabic, Shakar might be turn into Saggar and than Sugar? Interesting! But Cheeni kahan se aya? we know a word Misri for sugar or sweet.

I google out a little, I thought Khand is Punjabi word for Sugsr but it’s not, there we’re might be some factory “ Khandwal” refines sugar and that word start from there!
