The Arjun is a flawed design with its massive weak spots .. A low pressure gun,massive weight (which hinders its transportation n movement,prone to breakdowns,no hunter killer or APS apart from other technical flaws.

That's why even the user Indian army went for more T-90S...which most Indian user allege is due to Indian army's live for imports & dislike for Indian stuff.. Ironic.

There is something seriously wrong when you need Mk2's right after a Mk1 and then upgrading those Mk2's before they even had some weaning in operational exercises. The Arjun is just another victim of the gutter pool that is project management at DRDO. An utter insult to Indian talent and finances and nothing more.

At leas the Tejas is a very capable platform that a victim of poor planning, but the Arjun is clearly lacking in even those respects.

Even the JFT getting MK2/blk2 after immediate procurement of first 50 jets!
