Puerto Rican superstar was happy publicly endorsing Trump a month ago, standing beside him, until a 'comedian' essentially speaking for Trump called Puerto Rico a floating garbage island. He must have thought it was right and even funny when discrimination, hate, and demagoguery are directed against others. He was obviously not bothered by Trump calling names to Mexicans, Haitians, and Muslims.

Former President Donald Trump has responded to comments made by President Joe Biden, who reportedly referred to Trump supporters as "garbage." In a symbolic gesture, Trump spent a day working as a garbage collectorto highlight what he perceives as the unfair treatment of his supporters and to draw attention to the broader issues of respect and dignity for working-class Americans.

Key Points:

  • Symbolic Gesture: Trump's decision to work as a garbage collector is intended to demonstrate solidarity with blue-collar workers and to counter Biden's remarks. By engaging in this line of work, Trump aims to convey that he values all Americans, regardless of their political affiliations.
  • Political Context: This incident underscores the ongoing tensions between Trump and Biden, particularly as the 2024 election approaches. Trump's actions may resonate with his base, reinforcing his image as an outsider who connects with everyday Americans.
  • Public Reaction: The response from both supporters and critics has been mixed. Supporters may view this as a bold move showcasing Trump's commitment to the working class, while critics might dismiss it as a publicity stunt.
  • Broader Implications: This event highlights the polarized political climate in the U.S., where rhetoric and actions can significantly influence public perception and voter sentiment leading up to the elections.

Conclusion

Trump's engagement in this symbolic act reflects his strategy to connect with voters and address perceived slights against his supporters. As the election season heats up, such gestures are likely to play a role in shaping narratives around candidates and their relationships with various voter demographics.

Racists need garbage collectors too. Most of the garbage collectors in Israel are probably Palestinian and he uses Palestinian as a slur.

Really hard choice between the two. Bernie Sanders, who is Jew, says Harris is better for Palestinians. But she is part of the genocidal policy second to the president. She is not white and a woman, no woman has been President before. Does she have the base and confidence to change policy. Her husband is a Jew. If he is a hardcore Zionist, it will be pretty much the same, maybe less attacks on refugee camps and hospitals. But, he could be somewhat anti Zionist like Bernie Sanders, as only Jews can be. Someone like Trump cannot.
