IMO petrol prices should not be dropped at all. If people want cars they should pay for gas from their pockets. Nations money should not be spend on these useless subsidies. In US, govt generates money. The gas price in US is $3 per liter or PKR 310(Rs 310/liter).

The price here is around $3 per US gallon (3.78 liters), not $3 per liter, but 80 cents per liter, roughly.

Sir how much subsidy is still there on the petroleum? I believe this is the time to remove all subsidy.

No subsidy now on petrol and diesel...........

This is surprising, why is that? Extra discount from Arab brothers? Pak petrol price always have been lower then regional countries.
