Up to 27 Hindus 'converted to Christianity' by missionaries in Kushinagar

. .
good for these 27 souls that they have adopted the path of jesus and now free from all those meaningless pagan rituals.

. . . . .
I have encountered these missionaries once in Chennai...I went twice or thrice to some church with one of my college mate in first year.... They tried to allure me thru some handsome pocket money at the condition of attending Sunday's prayer compulsory though deal was not much bad as I knew I would remain a dharmic from inside whatsoever .... And since then I stopped going churches .....

.
Yeah agreed...but still it is the Pentecostal bastards who are still continuing this trend...Yesterday I heard a news from my friend if a family conerts to Pentecostalism they give two lakh rupees....

Pentecostalists are pimps who offer their religion for sale....

This money thing is being highlighted again and again in the Indian Media which is more or less linked to foreign funding and Hindu organizations are asking the ruling party to bring in some rule on this matter to check funding for religious organizations and NGO's.

VHP to organise 'ghar wapasi' in Sonia Gandhi's constituency

The Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) Monday announced its plan to organise a 'Ghar Wapasi' (home coming) programme in Rae Bareli, Congress president Sonia Gandhi's parliamentary constituency.
VHP's Rae Bareli district unit chief Harish Chandra Sharma said the saffron group has identified 60 families who were ready for 'home coming'. There was no allurement or coercion in the process, Sharma added.

He also said some "pseudo-secular" parties and politicians were trying to give "ghar wapasi" a communal colour though it was a simple and consistent work done by the VHP and its affiliates.

The VHP leader said the group plans to conduct "ghar wapasi" of about 100 families and as soon as this target is met, a date would be announced for the re-conversion to Hinduism.

The district administration, however, said the state government has made it clear that such events cannot be allowed. "So far, we are not aware of any such move, in case something comes to our notice, we will act," a district official told IANS.

Saffron organisations in the past few days have intensified their the "home coming" programme, specially after a successful mass conversion in Agra.

Meanwhile, Samajwadi Party legislator Zameerullah launched a helpline and set up a control room in Aligarh to keep a vigil on such events.

BJP says it has nothing to do with 'homecoming' of non-Hindus | Zee News
December 19, 2014
Patna: The BJP on Friday distanced itself from the conversion controversy saying the party has not been involved with the 'homecoming' of non-Hindus and has not contributed to such activities.

"The BJP has nothing to do with the activities related to 'Ghar Vapsi' (homecoming) of non-Hindus, nor has it backed or contributed to such elements or activities in any manner," party national spokesperson Syed Shahanwaz Hussain said.

"We are of the view that one is free to practice any religion, but at the same time, we oppose conversion by force or allurement," he told reporters.

Referring to the controversial statements made by BJP MP Yogi Adityanath to defend activities related to the 'homecoming' by the non-Hindus, Hussain said the party has not sanctioned its leaders to indulge in such activities nor has it taken part in such programmes.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi also clarified the government's stand on the issue, the BJP national spokesperson said and urged opposition parties to put an end to the controversy and allow the Parliament to function.

On the opposition parties' demand that the Prime Minister make a statement in Parliament on the conversion row, Hussain said the PM was not bound to speak on all issues as there were ministers with specific jurisdiction and they must be allowed to reply on matters related to their respective departments.
