But a faked short take off by the pilot-----. The video has nothing to do with being faked or anything but only showing what is recorded in real time----.

At least you are getting some senses back---. From RAW and whatever---that is why I say---after reading a post---when you start seeing red in front of your eyes---take a short break and read again---

WTF does it have to do with frustration----. You have been building something for 33 years----it had to finish someday---with all the money put in it---it had to have some substance to it.

30 million/unit and that with MK1 Tejas( IFR, IRST included). Mk1A will cost a bit more as that will be equipped with AESA and integrated EW system.

This is not a true short take off in real sense---it is a FAKE short take off----.

To show off---the aircraft become airworthy---very quick----but supposedly does not have the power to climb----so it flies parallel to the run way for another 10 + seconds to gain speed and power to zoom up---

I hope my indian colleagues don't get mad at my term----the punjabi saying holds true---bund da zor la reyha aiy charhan laiy----in the parallel flight to the runway----to zoom up.

Look at this F-22 Raptor's vertical takeoff which also as you said " so it flies parallel to the run way for another 10 + seconds " just like LCA Tejas did . How would explain this ??
It may be true for you that JF17 > F22 raptor .
