First, call was made to "The Hindu" correspondent (Ms Natrajan) in Islamabad, so there is no way RAW can monitor the call.

Second, Abu Jindal is always a code name and you will find that in every terrorist attack.

Honestly... even I don't want to come to any conclusion based on this call. Let wait for the investigation to conclude and only then we can say who is involved.

Who created HuJI and IM ?? They are all local Indians.

HuJI was created by RAW to destabilise Bangladesh and now the group has been hijacked by other players.

That is quite incorrect. SIMI was probably the only indigenous extremist group. Some elements within SIMI then went on to launch independent terror attacks. Again this was not endorsed by the SIMI leadership.

Any attacks done by IM or Deccan Mujahideen or HUJI all have strong links to Pakistani based groups with training in Pakistan.

The Harkat-ul-Jihad-al-Islami (HuJI) is a Pakistan-based terrorist group with an affiliate in Bangladesh. While the exact formation date of the group is not known, its origin is traced to the Soviet-Afghan war. Qari Saifullah Akhtar along with two of his associates, Maulana Irshad Ahmed and Maulana Abdus Samad Sial, all seminary students from Karachi in Pakistan, were instrumental in laying the foundation of a group, Jamiat Ansarul Afghaneen (JAA, the Party of the Friends of the Afghan People), sometime in 1980. Towards the end of its Afghanistan engagement, the JAA rechristened itself as HuJI and reoriented its strategy to fight for the cause of fellow Muslims in the Indian State of Jammu and Kashmir (J&K).

The HuJI continued to exist after the Soviet withdrawal from Afghanistan in 1989 by merging with another Pakistani militant group known as the Harkat-ul-Mujahideen, to form the Harkat-ul-Ansar which subsequently began terrorist operations in J&K. In order to avoid the ramifications of the U.S designation of Harkat-ul-Ansar as a Foreign Terrorist Organization in 1997, it renamed itself as Harkat-ul-Mujahideen in certain areas while its Bangladesh-based unit (formed in 1992) is known as the HuJI Bangladesh (HuJI-B). The HuJI-B functioned, in the initial years, under the Jihad Movement in Bangladesh led by Fazlur Rahman, one of the signatories of the February 23, 1998 declaration of ‘holy war’ under the banner of Osama bin Laden’s World Islamic Front for Jihad against the Jews and Crusaders.

But the fact remains that IM is but a stooge of the LeT, which uses the local angle to project the attacks as a handiwork of “disgruntled” indigenous elements. In fact, this is part of the LeT’s Karachi project referred to in Headley’s emails, wherein local terror kingpins from India coordinate with Pakistan-based LeT leaders and retired and serving Pakistan Army officers to recruit Indian youth and train them in Pakistan for terror attacks against India.

This is on top of the alleged claim by LeT-International claiming the attacks itself.

So even if there are local foot soldiers involved, they were most likley trained and got their directives in Pakistan.

On a side note, no official confirmation has been made that Abu Jindal is an Indian, Chidambaram has only said that he is well versed in Indian (Mumbai) characteristics and could be a Pakistani who acquired these or an Indian who has runaway to Pakistan. Something like Dawood Ibrahim has done before.
