Immoral acts will breed immoral acts.
When the GOVERNOR is a nominee in HAKIM SAEED murder & so many others in other cases what do you expect in return

One cannot absolve PPP completely either. During the last PPP gov't, Karachi was in mayhem with motorcycle riding terrorists spraying bullets on the bystanders almost daily. The same anarchy seems to have returned. I don’t blame the judiciary here. If police presents a weak case, judges would be forced to acquit the accused. (Remember, all the accused of the attack on the Supreme Court were freed without charge during Nawaz Sharif tenure).

Only rival to Altaf’s MQM is the Afaq Ahmad's MQM. IMO PPP is supporting Afaq Ahmed, thus indirectly involved in the target killing of Altaf’s men, who in turn are retaliating; we have classic case of infighting within the coalition partners. It is all about who controls Karachi.

.
i guss, no body is thinking to have peace in karachi!
bashing MQM, here on the fourm can be done , without any difficulties but , real peace cant be achived with out ALTAF's MQM.
HAQIQI was tried before , & they failed because of thier malitia style , politics.:what::angry:
AMIR , AFFAQ & others cant get a single seat in NA or in , SA! SO IF pppp is trying something, which is dangerous , they should give up, its been more thn 30 years already passed , with this nonsense.i guss, its the time when , we should stop incourging the elements , who were rejected by the peoples of karachi, and we should start hounring the mandate which was given by the peoples?:azn:
I guss , JAMAT-e- ISLAMI SHOULD BE BANNED, because of its links with terrorists.:agree::hitwall:

.
JAMAT-e- ISLAMI is the biggest reason we are in religious mess today. Our people were very religious but never took arms against state but JAMAT-e- ISLAMI brainwashed them.As long as ISI and Army gives JAMAT-e- ISLAMI like parties free ticket to brainwash people we are bound to get troubles.JAMAI-E-Islami type things should be banned. We need to remove Ummah First, Pakistan Second mentality.I hope General Zia rots in hell.

.
Do u know that Sufi Mohammad was candidate for elections from Jamat-e-Islami!

And i dont know what PPP is trying to do!
Today MQM has hold on karachi!
They have everything, they have nothing to gain but every thing to loose,
and other parties have nothing to loose but everything to gain,
so i think destablising karachi would hurt MQM most!
Thats why PPP is taking no action!

PM outlines strategy to curb killings in Karachi
By Shamim-ur-Rahman

KARACHI: Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani on Tuesday outlined a two-pronged strategy to curb target killings in Karachi and said that these incidents had no link with militancy in tribal areas.:undecided:

He was addressing a press conference after an intensive meeting with leaders of coalition parties in Sindh at the Chief Minister’s House. He also deplored the blast in Peshawar.

The strategy outlined by the prime minister heavily tilted towards political parties. It urged parties ‘having mandate of the people’ to use their clout and a process of mutual consultation to weed out elements involved in these incidents.
Mr Gilani said the committee formed in the previous meeting would be made more effective and, if needed, it would be expanded to involve grassroots political workers.

He said that coalition partners ‘must identify elements involved in disturbing peace, no matter to which party they belong’ and notwithstanding their ties with land and drug mafias.

He also said that administratively, the strategy laid stress on capacity building of law enforcement agencies. Mr Gilani said that the matter was more political than administrative and as such, political forces had to play their role.

In reply to a question, he said that political parties had agreed to identify black sheep in their ranks.:lol:

The MQM’s delegation, led by Dr Farooq Sattar, included Waseem Aftab, Raza Haroon and Hammad Siddiqui while the ANP team included Shahi Syed, Amin Khatak and Rana Gul Afridi.
The PPP team comprised Dr Zulfikar Mirza, Pir Mazharul Haq, Rashid Rabbani and Qadir Patel.
Sindh Governor Ishratul Ebad, Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah and federal minister Babar Awan also attended the meeting.:woot::enjoy:

I hate zulfiqar mirza!
He's responsible for all things, and his comments are funny as yonis khan's comments on T20 cricket!

.
ok this is weird no party is claiming responsibilty for the killings....and no one is even saying that they belonged to their party either....so i wonder who is killing who

maybe it is PPP or MQM kilings its own EX-ACTIVISTS!!

.
if political parties representin ppl of karachi dont want peace then wat can anyone do about it.
today if gov starts arrestin political activists belongin to MQM, JI etc etc, we will be seein more violance in comin days. MQM as always will threaten to quit gov while other parties will resort to their own ways.

I think mahool banay ja raha hai tabdeeli key liye ... problems in Balochistan, NWFP and now situation in Karachi ... Haqiqi is just an excuse to infuriate ... this is routine exercise before any change in Pakistan but this time change will be of one person and not the entire Parliament ... upcoming budget will serve as the last nail in coffin.

everthing will be perfect n normal in karachi the day mqm will stop trying to separate karachi from pakistan..
