We all have to remember that the United States has really been treating every one with a light touch, If they really wanted to, the oligarchy there could mobilize the American population by force, and use the states powers to bomb us all into rubble within 48 hours. Are nuclear weapons? Gone the very moment they decide.

If that criminal coup government is willing to do what they did to their own people on 911, what do you think they will do to us? It was almost World War 3 on that day anyway. I love Pak and do not want to see us see us caught in the middle of a war between China and the US. Say no to both!

Total War and us as their fodder!:

are you for real or what !
now listen you are wrong.

Pakistan should have never been in the U.S camp in the very first place, did you know that it was the USSR who invited Pakistan to be on its block before India ? , but alas ! only if our short sighted leaders could have foreseen the disaster of going to bed with the U.S, it was Hussain Shaheed Suhrawardy who started Pakistan's nuclear program way back in 1956 emphasized on a strong defense including in field of nuclear science, had that been persuaded along with a pro USSR or NAM type foreign policy & a strong naval power then 1971 could have been avoided ,but it was Ayub khan who did not persuade it, it was because of the foolish & short sighted decision of rejecting to go with the USSR & choosing to be in the U.S block instead & its natural results like the u2 spy plane incident which ultimately won us the wrath of the Soviet Union (Indo-USSR defense pact treaty is case to ponder) that my friend was an unforgivable offense the only far sighted decision the leadership ever took was are the Pakistan-China policy & the nuclear one that too in 1972 ! after the debacle of '71 (sic) on the other hand the friendship with the U.S has been the biggest strategic blunder . the biggest asset India derived out of the USSR was industrialization & the biggest liability we got from our love & dependence on U.S is Lack of self sufficiency

I agree with just about everything you are saying, and respect your opinion. But, Remember, the US was never invited to Pakistan in the first place. Bush called Pervez Musharraf, in 2001, and said: “We will bomb you if you don’t give us access rights to the ports and to the Khyber Pass”

That being said, if you make a deal with the US -- things will just stay screwed up, if we make a deal with China, and sign the bilateral strategic alliance with them, and if China has a series problem with the US over one of their Puppet States like North Korea or Burma, Then we will be on the hook along with them as well, even though the US has there problems right now. They still have global hegemony no matter what and they will wipe our forces out within 48 hours if it came to symmetric war, not the current soft, velvet glove treatment, of the current low intercity covert war -- right below the nuclear threshold that we are luckily experiencing right now

Keep China OUT!

U.S. already bombed Hiroshima and Nagasaki. U.S. is the only country that used nuclear atomic bomb against another country but don't be too scared of U.S. Musharraf also told Bush that if U.S. invades Pakistan then Pakistan will nuke all the major cities in India then Bush backed off, and Bush made a deal with Musharraf on drone strikes.

Pakistan's nukes can't reach North America or Europe, but it can reach India. If Pakistan goes down, then India must go down with it. Then who will fight America's new Cold War against China ;)

No, the US doesn't care about anyone but itself. The only reason Bush backed off is because the nukes would cause a major atmospheric disruption and the world would be living in a nuclear winter and Bush needed some countries to invade.

What is the problem with you?..The thread opener is asking abour war or confrontation of your country with your beloved ally USA.....Why the hell India will involve in nuclear war with you when India knows that danger for itself....

The OP is apparently a guy pumping up a (his?) website... he's already banned.

But this comment is ridiculous. The ONLY reason "Bush backed off" is because of a fear of some imaginary nuclear winter? Do you have any idea how many atmospheric nuclear bomb tests have already taken place? Hundreds, probably thousands. There is no "nuclear winter." Nukes are wildly overrated as weapons.

We could have nuked the USSR into oblivion - China too - in the period when we were the only nation with nuclear weapons. That didn't happen, did it?

Pakistanis have this insecurity that all who has nuclear weapons are going to use against them. India had nuclear weapons since 1974, and it never attacked Pakistan. While Pakistan has nuclear weapons solely for India and claims it so too.
