Undo 18th Amendment

Sir..even if they have doesn't matter ...no one can change constitution without 2/3 majority in NA which currently they don't have.......

They have same power as of yesterday ..nothing new...they can't change constitution ...can't touch anything prescribed in constitution without 2/3 majority which they don't have

PTI has become the biggest party in senate. Along with its allies it has almost 50 seats. Gilani may get disqualified. PTI is Considering passing a bill that senators who are do not want to be sworn in will be kicked out of senate and new election will be held at that seat. This would result in PMLN loosing two senator namely ISHAQ DAR and chaudhry nisar. PTI is planning to make hafesz sheikh senator from ISHAQ dar seat from punjab

You people dont understand, 18th amendment have given a massive boost to small provinces, KpK, balochistan. I dont know personally about others but it has massively helped KPK. The last PTI govt in KPK could do so much work independent of the centre due to 18th amendment.
According to this amendment, Islamabad gets 45℅ of revenue, i guess thats enough. Abolishing this amendment will not be easy and will cause huge dent to PTI in its strongholds like KPK.

The problem is that it is Islamabad that's Responsible for paying off all the debt and liabilities of the State not the Provincial Governments. Add defense and PDSP 45 Percent becomes peanuts. Federations share is not even enough for covering Debt servicing and Defense let alone anything else. Plus not all of 18th amendment needs to be fixed just NFC award and food security (only because of PPP).

Development in cities etc is the job of Local government. But In sindh in big cities like karachi and hyderabad provincial government PEE PEE PEE has taken most of the money making duties from local government such as KMC. the result is that money goes into corrupt politicians pockets and local government has no right and is out of money. Local governments today are a joke. Just look at mayor position of Karachi. He has very little right as most right were taken away from his by PPP. but federal government cant fix this due to 18th Amendment

yes, but it has allowed for mafias to take over the provinces. with a new generation, fed up of the lies and past mistakes, armed with social media and better ways to obtaining news, the 18th amendment is an anchor tied to our heels and it needs to go. then these ethnocentric parties can die and better politics can take over.

Provinces have always been underpaid by centre and that had created a hatred and sense of inferiority. The 18th amendment had addressed all those very well. if the 18th amendment doesnt go, then at least there needs to be more provinces, karachi has to be separated from the rest of sindh, and local bodies need more power. but i think for now we need a presidential system more than anything. we need an uncorrupt civilian dictator as president for the next 10 years to get the major issues in the system out of the way. then hopefully people will be better off and handling our problems and then smaller provinces can get more power.

No expert in law or anything but I think you need 2/3 majority if you want to touch the constitution. However new laws can be passed with simple majority in NA and senate.

Secondly to make a new province you need 2/3 in the provincial assembly as well.
