Very pretty, good job vietnam.
the scale of this map is way off. Saigon is really small; it is only about 10x10 miles. You can look on google map to confirm this. That begs the question on why Saigon with a population of 10 million, but the city is so small despite the fact that most people live in low rise dwellings. What makes it hard to understand is that a city with a population comparable to Saigon such as Shanghai and their population live mostly in high-rise buildings and yet the city is densely populated with buildings that stretches more than 50x50 miles. Even city like Xian with a few millions that has an area densely populated with buildings that stretches over 20x20 miles.Areas of development - River City will be in district 7
Saigon is comparable to Shanghai in size and population? Why don't you tell the people here Vietnam is comparable to China in size and population too because nobody can't prove it?the scale of this map is way off. Before u throw your hissy fit just read my post again. I only wonder why saigon is miniscule in scale despite having a whopping 10 million people. What makes it even more difficult to understand is most people live in low rise dwellings so you would think saigon would occupy more land area than a city with a comparable population such as shanghai. However most in shanghai live in high rise building yet shanghai is at least 5 times larger than saigon. Let's not talk about shanghai, even xian with 5 million people occupies a land area twice the size of saigon.Saigon is comparable to Shanghai in size and population? Yes most Saigoner live in low rise dwellings. I think this news makes you happy. Most Germans live in low rise housing. Yes they are mostly slum people.
I wonder that you raised such question. If you have ever visited a family in Saigon the you will see 10-20 family members live under one roof: grandparents, parents, children, grandchildren. And who knows plus friends and relatives from neighbors. Besides Vietnamese people are smaller in size, we fit in every small houses. I hope that answers your question. Before u throw your hissy fit just read my post again. I only wonder why saigon is miniscule in scale despite having a whopping 10 million people. Ah...I see; that could be the reason. Yeah, I notice real estate is pricey to afford in city like Saigon so I guess people live together to share the cost.I wonder that you raised such question. that is what Saigon needs it most: a new international airport because the existing is totally overcrowded. $16b Long Thanh airport with a capacity of 100 million passengers a year. construction will likely start in the third quarter of 2018.
the new airport lies about 40 km in the south of Saigon. the land needs to be cleared, people there need new homes.Wow...looks great.
Is it empty land right now? How far from city centre will it be?
