BEIJING: China on Wednesday said that it was not aware of the reports of PLA soldiers entering Indian territory along the banks of the Pangong lake in Ladakh and said it is committed to peace and tranquility along the border.

Indian border guards yesterday foiled an attempt by Chinese soldiers+ to enter Indian territory in Ladakh, resulting in stone pelting that caused minor injuries to people on both sides.

Asked to comment on the incident, Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson Hu Chunying said, "I am not aware of the information."

She said the People's Liberation Army (PLA) troops always patrol along the Chinese side of the Line of Actual Control (LAC).

"The Chinese side is committed to peace and tranquillity of the China-India border," she said.
"We urge the Indian side abide by the LAC and relevant conventions between the two sides," she said

The skirmish in Ladakh comes at a time when India and China are locked in a face-off in the Doklamarea of the Sikkim sector. The standoff has been ongoing for more than 50 days, after Indian troops stopped the Chinese Army from constructing a road in the area.

India has protested the construction of a road by the Chinese military in the area claimed by its ally Bhutan, fearing it would allow Beijing to cut off India's access to its northeastern states.

So, CPC & 11 Ping losing control over PLA??? Sad to see the declining state of affairs of PRC & CPC!!! PLA is on its way to become the worlds largest rouge organization!!!

Confirms what many have been thinking.....that Chinese Neocons (military) is not under the control of the CPC no matter how much they try to project so.

It could also be that Indian Army is incorrect?

Maybe they are just lying. They are not particularly known for their honesty.

Most likely the indian army accidentally crossed the LAC with stones and iron rods and accused the chinese unnecessarily when they started retaliating

May be but with India at the brink of civil war and falling apart even this rouge army is enough to take over Delhi.

Nothing wrong with her statement. Wherever PLA patrol is within the Chinese side of LAC.

With Indians you can never be sure they are really believing these deliberately missleading and fake headlines of Indian propaganda or just jumping on the bandwagon and carrying their water. Either way, dont blame China for your own BS.

Indian media has been whining and hyping up some "major Chinese invasion" for a week and as usual claimed victory when China didn't invade after all. Chinese FM just called BS on the entire premise that China crossed the LAC
