Una Dalit unrest: ‘Why should I stay a Hindu? Maybe I will convert to Buddhism this year’

Why should dalits be forced to live such degrading lives as hindus?

Let them find freedom in islam, Christianity or buddism

freedom and islam? 50% are by definition not free (women); of the rest if you happen to be shia in sunni and vice versa, domain you are toast. nah, dalits have far more sense than fall for that

A large percentage of new converts to islam across the world are female, they know better than you

Dalits have been treated like vermin forever they are sub human as per their own faith and culture

They need to dump hinduism as part of their salvation and the biggest act of resistance will be to convert to islam and give two fingers to the Hindutva brigade

Actually caste system use to be linked with the profession . Vaidya Brahmins use to be part of the troops before the british came to India.

Each and every single soldier of Indian armed forces are kshatriyas once they joined the Indian armed forces.

Shaheed Lance Naik Hanumanthappa Koppad from Madras Regiment who survived six days buried under a 25-feet avalanche in Siachen. This Shaheed is kshatriya

You dont understand Indian caste System but the religious scholars do understand how the caste system got corrupt after the British came to India.

“Relations between the Peshwas, who were Brahmins, and the Mahars were strained after Bajirao I died in 1740, and touched the nadir during the reign of Bajirao II, who insulted the Mahar community and rejected their offer to serve in his army,”

“The Mahars were in the mainstream Maratha army since the time of Shivaji’s legendary conquests. People forget that it was a Mahar who collected the mortal remains of King Sambhaji . They fought alongside the Peshwa’s forces in crucial battles, including the third battle of Panipat and at Kharda. But history is often recorded from a Brahmin- ical perspective, which tends to obfuscate facts,” contends Mr. Kadlak.

On January 1, 1818, some 500 soldiers of the ‘untouchable’ Mahar community fought a great battle at Bhima-Koregaon village alongside the British against the superior forces of Peshwa Bajirao II. This battle in the third Anglo-Maratha War effectively ended Brahmin ‘Peshwai’ domination and signalled the end of the Maratha empire.

It was always corrupt, it was always a land full of jahilat, superstition and evil,

Its why millions of us converted to islam to get away from this beghairati

Dalits should find salvation away from a faith and systems that puts them on the bottom rung of humanity along with the taunts and humiliation

The biggest two fingers towards the system and oppressors would be to become muslim

Becoming christian would also be a slap in the face

Becoming buddists is better then nothing and better than being a little better then a dog in hinduism

You do understand the bigger plan of the Supreme Creator and even the sayings of Prophet Muhammed PBUH about the events which are going to take place after 1400 Hijri .

Arabs,Turks and Afghans do think in more bigger way when its about faith and spirituality but its not the case when its about Pakistanis. Caliph Umar R.A.A have declared Parsis as the people of the book and if he would be there then even the followers of Santana Dharma would be declared people of the book . Seems you want Isa Ibne Maryam to return back just to declare the followers of Santana Dharma as people of the book .

Dont you think the Jahalat and Beghairati would be too much to degrade people of the Santana Dharma ?

Do not go above and beyond what has already been stated

These are pagans and idol worshippers

They are not, nor have they ever been, nor will they ever be people of the book

Hinduism:

Brahmins from the head
Dalits from the feet

there are two or three more divisions in-between, I cant remember where but the whole Hindu caste system is based on a segregation that lasts through successive lifetimes.

Therefore, if you are an 'untouchable' (shudra, dalit) in one lifetime you will be an untouchable shudra, dalit in the next . As an Hindu born in the entrenched system of 'jaat' or 'zaat' you have no hope of being Brahma's head. If you are a Dalit, you are Brahma's feet and the dirt on it. You can be nothing else and neither will your children or their children. Can a dalit 'convert' to 'Brahmin'? Nope. That's it then. No salvation for you Dalit boy, you are shit and so are your children for all eternity. What a religion. Tell me I am wrong, .

Just to explain and prove to people like you, I dont think that Isa Ibne Maryam should be call and armageddon should be done .

Isa Bin Maryam? Ask your new American masters what Isa is and who his Blessed Mother was. You should be ashamed of even mentioning her name. Your new American Boyfriends are basically Christian and revere both Isa (RA) and his blessed mother (Maryam). On the other hand, your pimps, Israel and the Jews of Israel, have other ideas when it comes to Isa and his blessed mother, You are confused Hindustani, either that or you are a duplicitous liar.

We Indians are well aware even the Americans what the Israelis are up to.

For Indians and Americans, State of Israel is a small dependable country which violates UN resolutions on regular basis and harm our foreign relations with vast majority of countries .

I am not at all confused . asking him to stop his jahalat .

Your becoming irrational

Do not defend the idolatry of these pagan hindustani's

They are kaffir by the very definition of the word.

Until they cease their idolatry and many deities they are hell bound and their is nothing you can do to change that

As a ex-Buddhist myself:

This post made me laughed out out.

there's no concept of the existence of any 'divine being' in buddhism, unlike the 330million or so 'gods' in polytheistic Hinduism
Leave them and welcome to the true Deen, Islam. What are you now friend? @Zarvan help the bro out. :)

Divyesh Solanki: A Dalit and Class 9 dropout from Una, where six people were flogged for skinning a cow carcass; wants to become a policeman.

A Dalit protest in Ahmedabad on July 27
To mark 2017, The Sunday Express meets 17-year-olds across the country touched by the big events of 2016 — to listen to their questions as they begin their first year of adulthood.

“No money today either,” says Divyesh Solanki as he walks home with his mother and sister after a day spent sorting and packing freshly harvested onion bulbs. They are hired for Rs 160 a day, and for the last three days, haven’t been paid their money. “The farmer has asked me to come back tomorrow,” says Divyesh. He doesn’t know what else he could do for a living, he says. He knows what he “won’t do”, however. “Until a few months ago, almost every male member in our extended family and community skinned cows for a living. I never learnt to do it and even if I did, after what happened to members of our community, I can’t imagine doing it either.”

Divyesh’s village Mota Samadhiyala was the epicentre of Dalit unrest in Gujarat after seven men from the village were flogged on July 11 by a group of ‘gau rakshaks’ for skinning a cow carcass. Divyesh says he is a “distant cousin” of Vashram and Ramesh Sarvaiya, the two brothers who were among the seven attacked by gau rakshaks on July 11. The third of five siblings, Divyesh dropped out of school after his Class 9 to help his parents, he says. Apart from working in the farm, he works as a nightwatchman at an upper caste villager’s farm for Rs 300 a night.

divyesh-759.jpg
Divyesh, who turns 18 in March, says the July 11 incident has left him bitter.
Divyesh’s father Govind Sarvaiya cultivates fodder on one bigha of government land. The six-member family lives in a single-room house in the village’s Dalit quarter. Divyesh, who turns 18 in March, says the July 11 incident has left him bitter. “We respect the cow as much as anybody else does. We never kill a cow; only skin dead ones. Yet, we are victimised. I wonder if this will ever change,” he says.

Talking about the discrimination they live with, Divyesh adds, “Even while we work on others’ fields, we have to bring our own utensils from home for food and tea. We are made to sit at a distance during lunch. Why should I stay a Hindu? Maybe I will convert to Buddhism next year,” says the Virat Kohli fan. Divyesh hopes to be a policeman some day. “The job will earn me respect and a salary. But for that, I need to clear Class 10. I have applied as an external student and will take the exam in March,” says Divyesh.
Om shanti. :)

I am aware about what i am talking and i am not at all irritated even my whole life has been destroyed because of the games even when the Government of India is fully aware regarding me.

I doesnt need to prove my loyality to the Indian Establishment but those who have to prove now its the time to show that.

They are the firm supporters of the Dharmic movements on the other hand that al Jazeera conveniently ignores.
They drink alcohol. Worship Hindu Gods along with Lord Buddha. They eat pork (popular among many poor Dalits because its cheap). :)

About 25% stay because of the continued Tableeghi presence. But they are getting lesser.

If anything, knowing the nature of bigoted Hindus in India, attacks would only intensify if Dalits converted en-masse. We already know how such people react if a Dalit praises Ambedkar in public.
A neo Buddhist India and Myanmar can then sign a mutual assistance treaty and ..... :D
Long Live Buddhism. Long Live Dharma.
