This United Nations Security Council’s sanctions monitoring team which will visit Islamabad on a two-day trip starting next Thursday for an assessment of Pakistan’s compliance with the world body’s sanctions regime.

Don't mistake this with the UN Military Observer Group in India and Pakistan (UNMOGIP) which observes and reports on ceasefire violations along and across the Line of Control and the working boundary between India and Pakistan in Jammu and Kashmir, as well as reports developments that could lead to ceasefire violations.
