He claimed most of the fighters were from Ukraine that that as hard as he tried he could not find any Chechens.

I have seen those post on MP.net and i fail to see how it relates to anything here. Did you even watch the video? For the most part the rebels do not act like that, when they are defeated and retreat they will flat out admit to it.
