UK to Pakistan or Europe to Pakistan by road (car or motorbike)

There is no way the US vans could have worked due to their size but Transit were the right size for the small country roads. Mind you Ford tranist ruled the British roads for almost 40 years now it mostly Mercedes Sprinters that have overtaken them.

I asked a dude who owned one in Pakistan he retrofitted his with a Isuzu Diesal engine he did like 2 times and its a tank

Yes, they were very different markets with unique requirements, from body and engine sizes right down to suspension tuning.

Ford had a presence once in Pakistan during the Ayub days I heard

The Transit's hold on regional passenger traffic was broken only by the Hi-Ace, and it never recovered after that in Pakistan.

In the last decade a lot of Pakistanis residing in Europe and in the UK have been doing these road trips to Pakistan decades ago in the 1970s my uncles who were living in West Germany and UK use to do it a lot but as the political situation in many parts of the world stopped that now things are lil stable, my dream trip is a to bike my way from NYC then ship to Europe my bike then travel on to Pakistan then maybe perhaps to other Asian states, anyone have done UK to Pakistan road trips in the past describe or anyone how was it some examples of people doing it

good on you I plan to go by road hopefully sooner rather than later.
