Typical PressTV lies. No one is saying that Iran cannot have a civilian nuclear program. Iran refuses to cooperate with the IAEA in its effort, as the overseer of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty, to verify for the UN Security Council that Iran's nuclear program is 100% civilian and non-weapon related. The total issue is Iran's refusal to cooperate in proving that its BS rhetoric about being only a peaceful program is true. Iran could end the confrontation in a nano-second by fully cooperating with the IAEA. The fact that Iran DOES NOT cooperate leads to the only rational conclusion: Iran is trying to develop nuclear weapons.

Wouldn't it be better for Australia to align itself to China more than the US, UK etc? China will end up bigger trading partners and is nearer to Australia.

We have good economic relations with china but military we are not aligned with them it has nothing to do with"ancestry" as some said or because there asian (we are allies with Singapore and Malaysia who are asian) but we have helped UK , and US and vice versa makes no sense to change because theres a new player in the region also we dont share same ideals as china.

Economically after china our next 6 biggest trading partners are Western countries or "Western freindly countries" Japan , United states , Singapore , United Kingdom , South Korea , New zealand.

well right now there is no countries in the world that have more
IAEA inspection in last 10 year than Iran and don't forget we become
part of the Axis of Evil at the time we had stopped all nuclear activities
for 2 year and in those 2 year you putt two round of sanction against
Iran in UN security council
