I was on twitter earlier on today and read that 9500 UK redundacies were announced yesterday. Read the thread below for details;

It seems that we're reading about redundancies daily now. The city i live in has been heavily hit - although thankfully IT seems to be pretty secure atm.

According to this article 60,000 job losses have been announced since the start of lockdown.

Couple this with the likely no-deal brexit and things are looking horrific financially.

Surely this can't be allowed to continue? How can we climb out of this situation? Boris has announced a plan to "build" stuff yesterday but it's hardly a massive economic stimulus. It's only £5 billion. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-53226906

Don't worry man, he has a HUGE trade deal coming up with Australia. :omghaha:

It's nuts. It also goes to show how heavily some businesses rely on credit/debt. Intu going under is an example. Huge foot print but seemingly castles built on sand.

In my opinion the way out is a green economic revolution.
