All those records of finances destroyed, all deeds of multiple mortgage's.
Its a horrible loss I tell you.

You are telling me that all records are stored in this centralized office and that there is no electronic backup of critical bank documentations to a single or multiple file servers in this day and age? That’s just poor planning if this is true, I am sure there has to some sort of backups? and a disaster recovery plan of this organization.

im sure that in this digital age --especially with cloud computing on the rise -- i doubt that whatever paper files they had were not backed up somewhere

I'm sure it was mostly just material loss....After Marriot hotel attack (and then fire a few months later) as well as a few other untimes things --Mr. Hashwani wants to leave no stone unturned.


give it a couple months, the damaged offices will be in pristine condition again Inshallah.....

I sure hope a Datacenter is providing the network share server and NAS to his company it has to for crying out loud it’s a bank, unless there is foul play and people are to be benefitted from this disaster which is very possible.

well i do find it particularly strange the way the fire is dispersed. . .

i guess only time will tell what exactly happeend, though for now it appears there was no foul play, it was sh*tty wiring
