It is NOT an easy thing to sever ties with UAE, we have a large Pakistani expat force there which sends crucial remittance to Pakistan in addition to sustaining themselves and their families. We also have other interests with UAE which are perhaps more important to us than to the UAE and therefore we need to identify avenues which could persuade UAE, and overall GCC, to consider the plight of Muslims under Indian dominion (including oppressed occupied Kashmiris) and then deal with India accordingly.

Well Khafee should not be hounded for UAE govt's actions (if true) and what does the civilian award merit in the real world? Secondly we all are answerable in the end to Allah for our actions. For the back stabbings by the Muslims to each other at critical junctures will be awarded their due judgement.
