UAE Surrenders in Yemen: UAE to Withdraw From Anti-Houthi Military Operations in Yemen

The Arab world is the cradle of civilization. Home to the most ancient and influential ancient civilizations, cities and historical monuments in the world. Home to almost 100 World UNESCO Heritage Sites etc. For millennia our part of the world was the most wealthy alongside China and India. There is no need to "boost" about anything. It comes naturally with the territory, I am afraid.

Ever heard about the Rashidun, Umayyad and Abbasid caliphates and empires that together lasted for almost 1 millennium? Those 3 empires are 3 of the 11 largest empires in history. No other people in the top 15 have created that many empires and of this size. All 3 bigger than those you mentioned, expect for the Mongol (extremely short-lived) and British Empire which is a somewhat modern empire.

Let alone the numerous Arab kingdoms, sultanates, emirates, imamates, sheikdoms etc. on 3 continents from Spain and Portugal in the West to the gates of China in the east to the Swahili coastline (itself an word of Arabic origin) in the South.

Let's not even talk about the legacy of Arabs religiously, culturally, linguistically, in terms of architecture and artifacts etc. Very few people can compete in this regard which is widely acknowledged.

The Mongol Empire was an incredibly short-lived empire and they met their end in the Arab world and were eventually defeated. They left nothing of worth. Destruction purely and nothing else.

Arabs in Spain alone left 10 World UNESCO Heritage Sites. I doubt that your beloved Mongols ever built 5 anywhere that they had a presence. In their entire recorded history from when they first appeared to this very day.

I hope you realize that the Roman Empire was ruled by numerous Arab and various Emperors of Semitic origin (ancestors of modern-day Arabs) from today's Arab world. Half of the territory was also located in today's Arab world.

All of the above are purely historical realties that certain people and individuals are butthurt about but I could personally not care less.

Instead of trying to counter my initial post that you quoted, which is purely based on historical facts and nothing more, you demonstrated your enormous ignorance and butthurt. I expected more.

To tell you honestly I think it is hilarious to see people belonging to ethnicities that cannot even touch our knees, barking here. If historical facts are "superiority" then so be it. Every other people here take pride in their achievements but whenever Arabs do it people are screaming and crying. I wonder why that is? I have a few theories but let us leave it at that.

Now tell me about your peoples achievements and empires if they even had any? Whatever ethnicity you belong to I can already judge based on your nationality that you cannot compare in any shape or form. That's the brutal truth.

Also I don't believe in superiority or look down on any people, unlike you (it appears to be the case at least) nor am I even a full-blooded Arab to begin with.

I am not interested in a troll feast that has nothing to do with the topic at hand nor can anyone here counter all the historical and factual facts in this very post so save your eventual reply.

Well, here this is essential ;)

@Arabian Stallion :

“Anyway from KSA's viewpoint all the strategic areas of Yemen have been conquered. Whether vital ports, the areas that contain almost all of Yemen's oil and gas or the economic heart of Yemen (Aden). As far as I am concerned, Houthi's are not a military threat for KSA and will likely never be and the part of Yemen (20% of Yemen's territory) that they and Saleh control is neither rich in anything but heavily populated and prone to infighting.”

Everything else is just :blah:

Game Over !!!

...

Anyway the UAE denied this report as expected. However regardless of this report or not there is little more to win or gain for any party in Yemen outside of consolidating what each party already has. So due to that I expect all parties that are engaged in Yemen to slow down their engagement. As has already been the case for quite some months. Moreover I would not be surprised if the talks in Kuwait will eventually succeed.

UAE is like that 5 year old, who thinks he can take on his dad after wearing new set of boxing gloves.
They are used to a comfortable and a feminine life style...their soldiers can do better cat walks than our models and it is totally unfair to send them to war front...what a shame... A few months ago, their fragile soldiers died in the attack by beastly and inhuman Yemeni rebels; and scenes the Emiratians sobbing incessantly like ladies are still fresh in my mind.

.
So, these GCC shiekhs can not dictate them. Yemani people need ballot box not guns. .
Yemeni people need to be left alone and the GCC are not an example of upstanding humans.

they are your people and defeat in what way, the coalition of the incompetent can't even secure Aden. Fingers cross for jordanian soldiers to enter Yemen :yay:
The first rat throw the towel, I am wondering when the next shoe will fall...The Houthis gave another falaga to the Arab nato and their mercenaries..:omghaha::omghaha::omghaha::omghaha::omghaha::omghaha::omghaha::omghaha:

I'm unaware of any books about the Saudi war on Yemen, but I highly recommend you read the works and writings of Graham E. Fuller. :agree:

Here's an interesting article he wrote about the Yemen war last year:

Dear

I don't want to get in this discussion, but the cradle of civilization as we understand is north of Arab mainland.
Iraqis are considered 2nd grade arabs anyway.

So many troll posts, thread locked.

A junior minister in the United Arab Emirates has stepped back from previous comments attributed to him that the country's role in the Saudi-led war in Yemen was "over".

The remarks made by Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Anwar Gargash on Friday came as peace talks underway in Kuwait City have yet to end the war, where Shia rebels known as Houthis still hold the capital of Sanaa.

The state-run WAM news agency quoted Gargash as having made the comments in London earlier last week.
"We are at war. I am appalled that my statement was taken out of context and misinterpreted for [an] external agenda that seek to undermine the region and the [Gulf Cooperation Council] in particular," Gargash said.

Good thing we refused to get involved in a pointless sectarian conflict.
more like dreadful/ hateful sectarian blood bath.
these Muslims of today seem to only epxress themselves through hate or violence towards each other and rest of the world.

Dear

I don't want to get in this discussion, but the cradle of civilization as we understand is north of Arab mainland.
Iraqis are considered 2nd grade arabs anyway.

who is first grade Arab?
who does / did this grading?
what is the criteria of this grading?
who currently holds the first grade?
do the judges grade themselves?
how has the region benefited from the first graders?

and they were telling us to fall in line, i would like to see their faces now, and Pakistan can now clearly say "I told you so"
but Saudis have been saying this lately to us
after we caught an Indian monkey coming from Iran and the head monkey visiting Iran lately.

so they got a counter "told you so" ready.
