UAE Military Jet Crashes, Pilot Killed
DUBAI, June 17, 2013 (AFP) -An Emirati military jet crashed during a routine training mission in the Gulf country, killing the pilot, the UAE Armed Forces General Headquarters said in a statement.
"Competent authorities were inspecting the scene to investigate causes of the accident," said the statement published by the official WAM news agency late on Sunday.
It gave no further details of the incident.

The plane was a Hawk Trainer, The pilot was killed trying to steer the jet away from a residential area, by the time he managed to safely steer it away to safety it was too late for him.
