Since at the moment base is not occupied with any solider nor any country has claimed any right over it, perhaps other than Yemenis, why don't Iran bombed it , if they perceive it as a possible threat from Israel. It will be too late if UAE govt official acknowledges their soliders presence there than. Since even if Iran wants to bomb that place with soliders of either UAE/Israel stationed there, it will be considered as act of war. Better bombed it now until its too late.

Now Yemeni people are completely capable of targeting the whole UAE and also petrodollar assets in Saudi Arabia. That was one of the very reasons this little ant UAE stopped bombing Yemen.
