Maybe they don't have enough budget to train the pilots properly now. I don't think I have ever witnessed so many crashes of US military in past.

Luckily, nobody seems to be hurt.

The fuselage is broken into two 😳 .

Yep, scrap metal...

It's just a little bit broken in two and salt water corroded. Sell it to India and it will probably still be their safest plane.

good news , less airframe to fight the next war against iran ,,. and with US lost their ability to make more of these they will suffer in US vs Iran war as iran destroyed overrated US assets all over middle east

Germany to purchase three additional P-8A Poseidon maritime patrol aircrafts

Its a highly reliable aircraft based on the commercial 737 airframe

Indian Navy has flown its 12 P8I for over 50000 hrs without any mishap

so pilot error has to be blamed

Accidents happen.

US flies phenomenal number of aircraft and most diverse missions in the entire gamut of operational environment. They are as professional as anyone else.

If their rate of accidents per 10000hrs is compared, then it is likely to be amongst the best.
