U.S. mission to Turkey suspends visa services for security reasons

Its time for Muslim countries to wake up to new realities. Iran, Pakistan and Turkey union or at least a very strong defense pact is the need of this time. Middle east is gone, Arab monarchies (Saudia, UAE and Kuwait) are sold to highest bidder just to save their asses, Pakistan, Iran and Turkey are next target. Pakistan has been the target for last decade without success, they are all united in it so should we be.

Perhaps usa would do more in favor of pydpkk stuff at least more openly if the situation escalates. This however in turn would be used by Turkey as leverage in negotiations with Russia about Syria. Such as stationing more troops or deeper presence in Idlib with the excuse that Turkey separated more from usa camp and pyd terror threat is growing.Last time after usas fetos attempted the coup the relations with Russia was repaired completely and we managed to start the jarablus operation. This can have similar implications. However although Russia is the dominant player in Syria having a quick bilateral agreement with Russia disregarding Syrian govt position would increase the risk of an unwanted conflict later on if questions like how much presence and conditions to stay and leave are not answered for all parties.

U.S. and Turkey Diplomatic Relations Reach Crisis Point

The crisis has already hit Turkish stocks and led to a swift devaluation of the Turkish Lira, which will add pressure on Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan to come to some sort of compromise.

The American visa move after these multiple provocations presents a choice for Erdogan: step down the pressure; or drive a further wedge into the relationship with the U.S.

“As Turkey’s sole decision maker, Erdogan’s attitude will be decisive in resolving the face-off,” said former Turkish Parliamentarian, Aykan Erdemir. “As we have seen with earlier bilateral crises with Russia and Israel, Erdogan can choose to double down with firebrand rhetoric, or make a U-turn to deescalate the crisis.”

This isn't the first time Turkey - US crossing swords and it won't be the last time.

During 1974 Cyprus Peace Operation US placed economic and military embargo against Turkey... Turkey found other avenues.
