Why go for Cobras of Super Cobras (AH-1Z) when T-129 with TOT is in negotiations with Turkey?

"in negotiation" doesn't mean jack untill some contracts are actually signed. So far, the T-120 has no sales, interest notwithstanding. Which applies to the AH-1Z too, if you ignore USMC as user.

T-129 (3,2 Billion USD / 60 airframes > 53 million per)

AH-1Zs are not available and Pakistan is now interested in locally producing attack helicopter so it can build as many as needed and only T-129 & WZ-10 fits into it and I think PAA is going for earlier one, PAA pilot said that they love its performance and the way Turkey is ready to customize it as per PAA needs, production line of weapons like UMTAS & Cirit will also be provided to Pakistan.

One more reason for going for procurement of a helo which can be locally produced is that PAA may use them against IA surprise armor thrust and for that a sanction free helicopter which is available in numbers will be really good to have.

i am not saying how hard it would be ... my point is it will be taking more than 5 years .. first turks will completely their Sq.s

They are offering full production line in Pakistan and remember it was Turk bros who provided parts of AH-1s from their stocks when we needed them most in emergency.

Jordan, Bahrain, Turkey and phillipines will give us for very cheap cost and also we S.Korea and Japan which are developing more close relations with us can give us cheap too.

More over, we can negotiate with US for more AH-1s as spares and full Helicopters too.

I am sure PAA is still interested in it.

No as far as i know ANA is not going to get Cobras. although ANA will receive at least 17 MD-530 armed version.

But still if US adds 200 AH-1 super cobras with ANA then it will be totally different.

T-129 is going to be main attack helicopter of PAA it will replace AH-1s and will come with weapons which PAA don't have now, it will enhance PAAs capabilities and full production TOT will be transferred by Turkey final negotiations are under way this new was given by 2 army officers (one of which is a PAA pilot) on twitter and one screen print I have already posted on T-129 thread go and check it.

yar we are too late now on our major defence acquitions , india may attack soon and the condition of our navy is not effective enough as it lacks a.d. destroyers & the much needed submarines vital for a good defence

Although we are weaker then India in conventional weapons but still they can't afford a full scale war, it will destroy their economy as our is already doomed.
