This is really sad that the UN needs to negotiate a visit to Xinjiang

The U.N. is in negotiations with Beijing for a visit "without restrictions" to Xinjiang to see how the Uighur minority is being treated, Secretary-General Antonio Guterres said in an interview broadcast Sunday.

At least one million Uighurs and people from other mostly Muslim groups have been held in camps in the northwestern region, according to U.S. and Australian rights groups, which accuse Chinese authorities of forcibly sterilizing women and imposing forced labor.

China has repeatedly bridled at criticism of its treatment of the group.

"A serious negotiation is at the present moment taking place between the Office of the (U.N. Human Rights) Commissioner and the Chinese authorities," Guterres told Canada's CBC television network.

"I hope that they will reach an agreement soon" to allow a visit "without restrictions or limitations," he added.

Guterres said the Chinese had repeatedly affirmed to him "that they want that mission to take place."

On Saturday, Beijing announced sanctions against two Americans, a Canadian and a rights advocacy body that had criticized its treatment of the Uighurs, which U.S. officials have said constitutes genocide.

Guterres said he was also following "with concern" the fate of two Canadians, Michael Kovrig and Michael Spavor, who are being held prisoner in China on charges of espionage.

Their detention, which Ottawa has denounced as "arbitrary," is widely viewed in the West as a reprisal for the arrest and continued detention in Canada of Meng Wanzhou, an executive of Chinese telecommunications giant Huawei.

"Our position has been very clear," Guterres told CBC: "that in all situations of this kind, there must be due process and full respect for the human rights of the people involved."

China, as a nation, needs to realize that it has gotten to a position where the entire non-western world is rooting for it, from south america to africa, from the middle east to most of asia, everyone brown, black and oriental are looking up to China as a beacon of hope against the western imperialism. China needs to get past the "lay low" & "stay humble" cultural mindset...I understand that it has always been a part of China’s culture for 2 millenias, but right now, too much is at stake, the future of humanity rests on China staring the western war mongering imperialists down. China needs to dictate terms to the u.n. now that since they made the mistake of bringing up "human rights", now China demands unrestricted access to every nook & cranny of the u.s. to check the conditions of african americans & native a
indians ranging from living conditions to food security to incarceration rates to education levels to enjoyment opportunities to life expectancy & availability of health care. China will further present a list of demands for the u.s. to meet so that the living conditions of the minorities in america can meet the standards of living conditions as defined in u.n. human rights charter. refusal to do so shall be met with denial of access to the Chinese markets to american & european companies. It's time for China to hit em below the belt where it hurts!

Only those who are surviving on their 'tukras'.
India as a responsible democratic nation should be at the forefront of human rights investigation into the Xinjiang genocide.
So when are they going "unrestricted" to IOJ&K?
No foreigner in a private capacity needs a permit to enter Indian kashmir. Just catch a bus, taxi , flight or train ( you know Indian kashmir has trains), and reach any part of kashmir.

In the end there was only one result, China bought the UN.

I don’t know why China wastes time with these idiots.

Back then, the whole world told the United States that there was no WMD in Iraq. How is the result?

Really ?? Even rich Cnese ( Xiaomi, Luxshare, auto parts suppliers etc) also try to escape from CN to avoid EU-US's sanctions.

Even Cnese aslo don't put hope in CN now instead.

the desire for a multipolar world is widespread

two hundred years from now (in the unlikely event that this world continues to exist) historians will see The West Empire as the Assyrian empire but with better music and more fantasy

(1846-1830) Wall Street Wars
(1945-1991) Adolf II Wars
(1991-2020) Ziocon Wars

Vietnam

Vietnam suffered the wrath of "the blonde beast"

The spirit of Adolf was visceral hatred of socialists and communists, hence his hatred of Russia and the yiddish people

Adolf abandoned his war against Russia and the communists in 1945, and the Americans continued Adolf War after a brilliant and luminous imperial founding act in Hiroshima and Nagasaki to make it clear to the Russians who was the "top dog"

The UN is a chicken with no wings or legs. When america can brush aside the UN go unilaterally, invading and destroying Iraq on the basis of big fat lies. China has no reason to cater to a chicken with no legs or wings.

The days of the West imposing it's hegemonic will on other sovereign states is DONE!!! Today, we are hurtling toward WW3, courtesy of a West that is owned and controlled by Zionist-Scum.

Would you allow me to unrestrictedly search your body just because I said you stole stuff from me?

The west raised a question/issue to a country. The country has to unrestrictedly answer the question. Who the fk gave west the right to be moral judge?
