Exactly what I think bro. Even in Singapore, there is a lot of resentment over foreigners coming and 'stealing' their jobs. That is why I am getting out of this place as soon as I graduate.

For some reason, the EFT deal bit them harder than it bit the program leaders, aka the Germans. While Germany, Italy and Spain took it professionally, I don't understand what the hell is wrong with UK. Never expected this.

Their government just got used to us giving them resources and wealth a little too much. Let us relax, they will get back to their composure soon. I just hope they don't screw up the BAE Hawk program behind this.

No he didn't. There is a Gujrat in Pakistan as well. It is a district/city rather than the state of Gujarat that we have.

I watched that program, both Govt minister and opposition MP defended the decision to give aid to India.
The minister was quite combative and put up a good fight supporting the aid to India.
But public mood was different. Anybody who follows british news knows, they talk about "cuts" in almost every news bulletin.
Public is angry on govt and bankers for spending money and bailing out banks etc, and opposition to aid money is just part of that anger.

There was only one british lady who supported India for investing in space technology(as it will give returns) and got some applause.

In last week one banker was stripped of his knighthood, and another was pressurized to give up his bonus (although non of his fault that banking is in ruins, he came to save RBS).

i think the brits are correct..........we must look at the upliftment of our people first,,,,,,,,, tata must move jaguar/ landrover,corus production lines from uk to india and mittal must do the same,it will create more jobs and pull thousands out of poverty and the brits can comfortably keep their aid satisfied that india is taking care of its own people...

had same kind of idea with the same ppl involved, but you put it in a perfect way.
