Public beheadings don't work. If every criminal thought of consequences of their crime, that is they would get hanged etc there would be no crime. Detecting and catching them is bigger deterant. If you know you will be hanged but chance of being caught is 1/100,000 you will go ahead. On the contrary if you know chance of being caught is 1/2 and you will get 10 years prison the chances are you will not go ahead.

Awareness, detection is the priorty.

If you know that you will be caught and then beheaded, chances of you indulging in a crime will be in negative.

The guy who is recently caught after murder of four children has already spent time in prison, and he never learnt anything.

That's why, i am sure even if you have a system to catch all of them and put them in jail for 25 years, the first thing these vermins will think about is raping a child again.

Certain places may become more corrupt than other places I guess. Yes preventing these things is a priority but harsh punishments should be handed out too.

I think there has been a concerted strategy since the past few years to depopulate the areas close to Indian border in Punjab and Sindh to make way for army/intelligence agencies for better espionage/ military operations. Kasur and Ghotki are cases in point, both of them being only a few km away from the border.

There is a very well organized mafia involved in these crimes. The pathetic condition of the Pakistani society is getting worse day by day. A massive cleansing is required but these mafias are very well connected internationally because some very powerful people around the world are consumers of child p04n.

It is a pathetically sad state of affairs indeed. No one gives a damn about the victims in Pakistan, and I mean no one.
