Two Frontier Corps personnel were martyred and four suicide bombers were killed in a shootout triggered after a group of militants attacked a mosque at an army facility in Mohmand Agency on Saturday morning.

According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), four suicide bombers tried to enter Ghalani Camp at around 6:00am and started firing after they reached the mosque, where residents and a large number of recruits were present.

ISPR Director General Asim Bajwa said ‘security forces valiantly defeated’ the suicide attack. Two soldiers were also martyred in a shootout with militants and 14 others were injured.’

The attackers were “contained in the outer courtyard” of the mosque, and subsequently all four were killed.

A search operation was also launched to trace and arrest any accomplices of the attackers.

The last attack of such a scale in Mohmand Agency at the very same place was on December 6, 2010 when a twin suicide bombing wreaked havoc.

It could have turned into a total disaster if these two and other brave FC haven't surrounded those pigs. It's time to hit TTP leadership in Afghanistan and also take war inside there master our beloved neighbor on east India.

Pakistan says fends off attack by suicide bombers on military camp

Four heavily-armed suicide bombers attacked a military facility in northwestern Pakistan on Saturday and killed two soldiers, but failed to storm a busy mosque inside, the army said.

A splinter group of the Pakistani Taliban, Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan Jamaat-ur-Ahrar (TTP-JA), claimed responsibility for the attack on Ghalani Camp in Mohmand Agency that is part of the lawless Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) bordering Afghanistan.

A spokesman for TTP-JA, Ehsanullah Ehsan, said the Islamist group carried out the raid in an effort to set free fellow militants from custody of the security forces.

The militants began their attack at 6 am local time (0100 GMT) and attempted to storm into a mosque where a large number of army recruits were present, the army said.

"Wearing suicide jackets they opened fire and tried to rush inside the mosque. They were taken on and contained in the outer courtyard of the mosque," the military said in a statement.

Two of the attackers were shot dead and two detonated their explosive vests, preventing a "huge disaster", the army added.

Pakistan's frontier regions, deeply conservative and hard to access due to rough terrain, have long been the sanctuary of fighters from al Qaeda, the Taliban and other militant groups.

In 2014, the army launched a major operation in other parts of FATA including North and South Waziristan against insurgents who routinely attacked government officials and civilians.

Most of the myriad militant groups that stage attacks inside Pakistan seek to overthrow the government to establish an Islamic theocracy and impose a stricter interpretation of the religion than is practised in much of the country.

There is a force that is openly opposed to Pakistan. Until the Afghan border is brought under control and secure Pakistan will continue to see these tragic events. The vast majority of our people are lathargic due to such unfortunate events pray, shrug their shoulders and continue with their lives until the next terrorist incident. There seems no real end solution to this menace. Nawaz Shareef has very little interest in the Pakistani people, one side security personnel are gunned down in KPK and Balochestan and the other side a lunatic facist government is firing mortars at civilians. The Nawaz government is weak and incompetant to lead this nation.

Suicide bomber killed just after clashes in the LOC just when Russia showed interest in CPEC? Sounds fishy. Must be India.

.
This is a regular occurance whenever India is hit or talks of an aggressive response an attack on Pakistans western occurres. It can no longer be a coincidence it is a fact and a reality India has bought its stooges in Afghanistan to carry out devastating attacks in Pakistan agaisnt civilians.

Today again ?? :what:
إِنَّا لِلّهِ وَإِنَّـا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعونَ

.
The TTP-JA is the most violent of all militant groups currently in Pakistan. It should be brutally crushed. We should take the fight to them and bomb their each and every bastion.

These people have deep hatred of Islam and Muslims. Their sole mission is to bring much harm to the faith and the land of Pakistan.

Allah bless the martyrs

These soldiers have sacraficed their lives to protect scores of their fellow Pakistani's

They are a credit to our nation, our people, and their families

We could of have been mourning 100 dead if not for the sacrifice of these soldiers

Government must ensure families are taken care of for their sacrafice
