Twitter gets an Indian-American CEO - Parag Agrawal

The source I gave you has data from DOL and USCIS. I am sure people on welfare have no clue what these entities are. For the rest of your tantrums, calm down! Not everybody is born with the same capacities. Driving for uber is honest work too.
uhm, you haven't provided any data.
Please share the latest one as well then
This is from 2018

you conveniently failed to mention the fact that there are 8 times more indians than Pakistanis or others in the u.s. and that too, is when india's population is 6 times more than Pakistan. how do you say it? oh yeah, ...
here, I'll strip you ******and expose you by showing the real table and also provide the link which you could not (cuz its an excel sheet on your 33333 laptop):

If one looks at the "Alone" category only, it literally takes 2 braincells and pulse to figure out that a population of 4 million will naturally have more engineers, lawyers and doctors as opposed to a population of a half a million and thus, higher median income, I mean, DUH! further more, notice how japanese americans are almost 200,000 more in population than Pakistan americans BUT have an income that is almost $2000 less than Pakistanis. what, so japanese or japan are somehow inferior to Pakistanis? beta forget Pakistan, japan can literally BUY india and japanese can literally BUY indians here in the u.s. but don't worry, I don't hold you at fault, I realize that you lack those 2 brain cells and a pulse. ;)

WTF.. Alot of people around the world were legitimately campaigning for banning Indians from twitter because they shixt allover the platform and now you bring us an Indian CEO.. Twitter will become like whatsapp fake news viral in India it will turn into an absolute cesspool..

You would see tweets like ''A Macaque Monkey has been instated as the new premier minister of Sri lanka'' Trending the sad part is you think this is a joke but it is not I have seen worse tweets then that trend in India.. I am a legit surviving witness and living proof who has witnessed the impossible happening in India and have seen it trend

It already is.
Brain drain has been reducing in last few decades slowly as more opportunities at home are opening up, but India is still a long way away in the road to progress and naturally most of the brighter minds would move to country which is more rewarding of their talent. In coming decades brain drain would reduce even further for now However we can find solace in the fact that our universities and Institutes can churn out grads that are top of their line of work that is going to benefit us greatly in future. Not to forget having such a huge diaspora overseas has its own benefits like billions of dollars of remittance coming in every year as well as some political potential.

How many top graduates decide to join intelligence/defense (like DRDO, for example) VS. going to the US for better opportunities?

I'm talking about those talented students who have an amazing offer from the US yet still choose to stay back.

Guys there does not need to be any heartburn or Chest-beating.

Average tenure of a CEO is max 2 years.

Next f*ckup at Twitter (of anyone at Twitter under his watch) and he's history, the Board will promptly show him the door.

CEO's do report to the Board and the shareholders.

Paraag's career-ender is now two years away, even if he plays his cards right.

And besides tech companies, not very many immigrant Indians make CEO in other sectors in any case.

Income reported to IRS is actually not income "earned".

I know this about Bangladeshis living in NYC.

Avg. income of most Bangladeshi families each (even on diversity visas, i.e. former auto drivers) is above 200K per family, I KNOW THIS.

Most Bangladeshi uneducated families like this own multiple condo units back in Bangladesh.

Their kids are going to better schools (some ivy league) and are also getting into Federal, County and City level politics. Riaz Huq bhai reported on this a few weeks ago.

Why Indians love to boast about Indian CEOs working for American companies? Google is American, Microsoft is American, Twitter is American, IBM is American, Palo Alto is American, and Adobe is American. They are all American companies, founded and owned by Americans. India can't create these companies. Indian CEOs are just cheap workers hired by American companies.
Butthurt han spotted- These are American citizens not Indians

btw why does your Zhongua CCP quisling kind fester in USA of places. The most most hostile nation to China right from colonial era? parasitic masochism much ?

Very few and those very few are being lost to private sector atleast for ISRO

A student however brilliant doesn't become shining as soon as he/she joins DRDO or equivalent organizations. The place they study defines them. MIT has an yearly budget of 800m$ of research. Plus many ex alumni has given their shares to MIT including Bose audio systems.
Stanford would have atleast 200m$ of yearly budget. No Indian university can come close to such kinda exposure. In foreign universities it's ok to spend money and fail. In India, one's professor career is done if he fails. I don't think overall research in all Indian universities wouldn't cross 250m combined per year.

So they need to be shaped by that respective universities. He is the CEO cos he studied at Stanford. There have been CEO from IIT, IIMs too. But blaming brain drain is hardly right. The student needs to decide the right education for him/her

You misunderstood my question. I've studied at MIT and know how all that works.

What I'm asking is:
-imagine that there is a very capable student graduating from one of the good IITs, for example
-he/she gets good offers from Microsoft in Seattle and Google in Mountain View, California
-what are the chances that he/she INSTEAD chooses to join DRDO, RAW, the Foreign Service, etc.

The point of this question is: are mostly those who cannot make it abroad joining these defense organizations or do they get some top rated people right out of college too?
Very few and those very few are being lost to private sector atleast for ISRO

So, it's the same story across the border.

I had assumed it would be a bit better in India because of the new BJP-fueled hyper-nationalism, etc.

People who do Phd in sciences are the last to fall for nationalism or religious zealotry
They may be spiritual
Both AQ khan and Abdus Salam- the noble scientist themselves came to GOP and asked them to start a nuclear program- They may not be religious but were nationalistic
SPARCO was started by a Cristian dude- even though he could have landed in the west
If you do proper work not gov bs- nationalism can work in retaining talent

It doesn't matter whatever there motive was but as for you have to find the right motive that suits you.

Someone may do it for religious or nationalistic reasons but it is entirely irrelevant what the end goal motivations were as long as the state gets the end product..

A Christian Pakistani should serve Pakistan because they are his people period not because of other element. He has to be nationalistic and do it for the love of his bloodline
