TV Fortune Teller Faces Beheading in Saudi Arabia

Hi,
International law can intervene here, He is not a Saudi citizen nor did he commit any crime on Saudi soil. he didn't even threaten Saudi Arabia's sovereignty or peace in any circumstances. Mr Gambit is gravely wrong here he is getting a little too carried away with common practice exercised by the Americans of arresting foreign nationals. I am really shocked that why the International community is not raising any voice, Saudi's have this habit of executing innocent people, if it wasn't for Pakistan's diplomacy they would have executed that poor family from Pakistan who were implicated by their visa agents in Pakistan. This is inhumane & clearly a human rights violation

.
Even if he is a fortune teller, he is bad one because he did not see it coming on to himself. So give him a lesser punishment for being an incomplete / inefficient fortune teller because he is not one in the true sense.

That must be equally logical as beheading him......

 :rofl:U right. .real talibani r this wahabi mentality of soudi. .its coz of oil they can hv immunity against any damn thng.

.
But what he was doing in lebeonon is not a crime there, and he didnt do that in saudi right? so ideally he should not have been allowed to enter saudi arabia.

So its not right on saudis part to arrest him and now behead him..!!!
It does not matter to the Saudis if Sabat performed his tricks in Saudi or not. Just like how the Pope is the spiritual leader of all Catholics regardless of national sovereignty and borders, the Saudi clerics viewed themselves as the final guardians of the Islamic faith, regardless of national sovereignty and borders. So if Sabat enters Saudi territory, they gave themselves the religious right to arrest him.

Enforced by whom?

Common? Care to show the readership statistics of how often law abiding non-US citizens are arrested in US soil? Or is it more likely that the US in this instance is nothing more than a convenient rhetorical prop?

Give me a break.
