I think Turkish people are finally realizing that France/Germany will never let them into EU. It's good for Turkey to drop this humiliating quest and develop itself as an independent regional power.

I think Turkish people are finally realizing that France/Germany will never let them into EU. It's good for Turkey to drop this humiliating quest and develop itself as an independent regional power.

A big number of Turkish people already dont want to let in EU however this is just a state policy which is turned into a chess game.. Europeans do the best they can ever do; blocking the way. A group of EU states leading by Germany/France use Cyprus to do it behind the curtain. Another group is can be called as Notherns or Scandinavians support Turkey's EU journey. Lately, Minister of the State and Turkey's EU Chief Negotiator Egemen Bagis said something may shorten whole story; "We will not be the one who unplug".

As anything else on planet earth, this is all politics too.
