A few Armed drones killed around 75 PKK within 2 months. It is the reason of such big order update. Anka-S is also coming to cat-mouse play in March 2017.

8 existing UAV's have been converted to armed drones.

New orders:

- The Landforces command ordered 16 armed drones (8 to be delivered in oktober 2017 and 8 in june 2018)

- Police had ordered 18 UAV's (6 delivered, 12 in delivery)

- Jandarma plans to order 12 UAV's

Most probably, they will be in service with CATS. Aselsan is busy to deliver 44 CATS order in time.

If any delay occurs in CATS delivery,there could a possibility for those systems to remain idle.I crossed my fingers and looking forward to see commencement of CATS deliveries

Those are just tactical class ucav orders. Anka is in a different league called strategic class.

Greece and Cyprus i can understand but Kazakhstan? How come we still arent offering our products to central asian countries. Pretty sure our products are better then some small baltic remote state.
