Turkish Unmanned Vehicle Programs

1 rpg and its out of service. 1 cheap rpg round. Unmanned m113 more logic.

are you kidding they have even thermal sights for weapons thanks to fake ally USA

M113 would make for a good bait vehicle, draw fire in and then hit wherever the fire is comming from.
UWP would be much cheaper to produce and repair then M113 however. Electric motor vs Diesel Engine aswell as other components like tracks, roadwheels etc...

Provide a source then, until now i haven't see any night vision goggles nor jammers in Afrin.

NightVision devices given to "SDF" by our American allies

"
Border Interdiction Force
. Special Operations interdiction forces
require night vision devices, thermal imaging devices, and
aiming lights to conduct effective night operations. For terminal guidance operations, units require laser designators,
compasses, global positioning system (GPS) units, binoculars, and a variety of signaling devices."

Dude, I remember seeing post on defence.pk about that too, so don't just start by denying everyones post.
And where did i deny? I just asked a source o_O

NightVision devices given to "SDF" by our American allies
I know that, i also saw that US gave more advanced weapons to YPG too such as armored vehicles and anti tank rockets, there was even a picture of PKK with Javelin.

Does PKK have them in Afrin is completely different story.

Question to everyone: Why is Bayraktar TB2 using a foreign FLIR?

Yes I completely agree. M113 is a large, amphibious vehicle with large carrying capacity we should upgrade our M113s for strategic troop deployment. We're still using unarmored busses in most places.

If I am not wrong, most of our aerial platforms (we have a really huge fleet) still operate on foreign electro-optic sensors. Of course, Turkish engineers work really hard on domestic sensors such as AselFlir 300T or CATS but still for example, national police operates American made electro-optic sensors and believe me this created problems.

Dude, I remember seeing post on defence.pk about that too, so don't just start by denying everyones post. It's not like those gear require rocket science degree to acquire.

For instance

FROM WALMART! o_O
Come to Ukraine I will find you for 500$ night visions, 3500$ thermal optics:) Every product is legal and has warranty and service center.
You dont need license or approval here.
Ukraine seems to trust its citizens, not banning this devices in the war conditions. Ukraine goverment could have banned this, blaming own citizens supporting separatists as Turkey banned rifled semi-auto carbines and thermal optics.

also Akıncı UCAV will soon make its first flight:

...Stating that they launched their activities for the Attack UAV System (Akıncı) project, Mr. Süngü added that they have planned for the maiden flight this UAV soon.

Baykar- Attack UAV System to Carry 900 kg External and 450 kg Internal Payloads

On the slide projected on the screen during the presentation, the technical features of the Baykar’s Attack UAV system were displayed as follows: 24 hours of endurance at 40,000 thousand ft service ceiling, 900 kg external – 450 kg internal payload capacity with 5 tons of take-off weight, Single/Dual Turboprop Engine Drive and LOS/ SATCOM data network. The Attack UAV System will be capable of conducting Electronic Warfare, SAR Reconnaissance, Signal Intelligence, EO/IR reconnaissance, Ammunition Transportation and Wide Area Surveillance missions...

Maybe it is possible to use MOTOR SICH AI-450 C-2 turboprop motor for Akıncı UCAV:

That sounds kinda fishy tbh. Here's why:
1- The first source says Akinci will carry 4.5 ton payload. That is a ginormous drone. Even the biggest drones in the world carry maybe one third of that payload. It's probably a mistake but still...
2- Baykar does not have enough experience for this kind of UAV, TAI is much more well suited. Don't get me wrong but the experience gained from bayraktar doesn't even come close to Anka.
3- We haven't even seen a proper CAD model of Akinci yet and it is making its maiden flight soon? Okay if you define soon as the next 5 years maybe, otherwise no.

It seems roadway will proceed like;

Anka-200kg payload turbodiesel 30000ft- TAI
Anka-II 750kg payload turbodiesel 40000ft- TAI
Akinci-Turboprop 40000ft- Bayraktar
Akinci-Turbojet variant GlobalHawk equ. 50000ft- TAI

I think it is the tonnage of the UAV.

Unmanned Ejder Yalcin. Our engineers are going crazy with this.:laughcry:

This will be very good for border patrols and IED defusing teams.

:yahoo: and soon some young PC gamers will be hired to fight against PKK :D
this is very good we need more of this and some smaller versions like a quad with more fuel for 500 km and 12mm gun and 40mm granade launcher :D

Tulpar's latest high load drone T3C Yavuz made it's maiden autonomous flight today with success! Having foldable arms, T3C can fit into a midsize case but also can carry upto 8 Kg usefull load.

8kg load? thats good that thing could carry some serious extra accu and a good camera if it only would be used to fly around tanks to detect targets..
