What's new

Turkish TB-2 UCAV is 93% indigenous

around 50 % of the export was gulf cauntries and egypt but they develop there defence indistreis and they prefere buy from eu and usa

I won't be able to talk details, however, the demand from gulf countries is increasing. UAE and Saudi Arabia wants to buy TB2 and Akinci. They are both moving away from western suppliers after UAE failed to get the F35 after doing everything that the US asked them to do. Qatar will obv. continue to be a major customer as well.

Baykar's TB2 exports alone in 2022 is expected to be well above $1bn USD. Next year they will massively increase capacity and start exporting the Akinci (contracts signed with 4 customers and 7 other customers are close to signing), Diha etc. which could push their export figure to above $2bn USD.

what is the defence export target for 2030?
Around $25bn - probably unrealistic.

The Turkish defense industry has exported 228 products to 170 countries within the past 10 years while only 62 defense projects were carried out nearly 20 years ago, today this number has exceeded 800

While Turkiye had an annual export of only $248 million 15 years ago, in 2021 at a record level of $3.2 billion ( exports grew more than 10 times in 15 years )

so We believe that as long as we continue with the same determination to reach $25 billion export in the next 10-15 years

Because major Turkish military projects and Engines will enter service year by year in the next 10 years

for example USA blocked sale of 30 T-129 Attack Helicopters ( $1,5 billion ) to Pakistan . because of American Engine

Turkiye create turboshaft engine family from TEI TS1400 Engine for Helicopters
also turbofan engines for Fighter Jets

Turkiye's top major military projects to increase its market share on a global scale

Fake defence forum!!!! Spreading Fake propaganda

Twitter suspends defence.pk account for photoshopped image of Indian student

Twitter suspended verified account of "Pakistan Defence" [@defence.pk] reportedly over a complain filed by an Indian student from New Delhi whose photograph had been misused by the handle.

Well that totally answered my question

possible buy even france and uk dont get 25 bilion and they have all of this for years

UK has no all of this

UK cancelled unmanned stealth Fighter Jet project
UK buys F-35 , AH-64 Apache , HARPOON , TOMAHAWK , MLRS , UCAVs and many more from The US ... UK buys ASTER Missiles from France-İtaly and UK doesnt sell nuclear Submarine

also most of projects are JV with France or İtaly such as STORM SHADOW Cruise Missile , Eurofighter , Destroyer , etc

Turkiye develops future weapons
and USA doesnt sell F-35 , UCAVs , Submarine , Destroyer , Frigate and many more to 1,8 billion Islamic World

Turkiye's top major military projects to increase its market share on a global scale in the next 10 years

Turkish weapons instead of Russian weapons ( Azerbaijan , Kazakhstan , Uzbekhstan , Turkmenistan , Kyrgyzstan , Ukraine , Algeria , Libya , South American Countries , etc )

Pakistan , Indonesia , Maleysia , Bangladesh in Asia
Albania , Macedonia , Hungary , Bosnia , Poland , etc in Europe
African Countries

if good relations continue with rich Arab Countries ( Qatar , The Uae , S.Arabia , Kuwait , etc )

Iran has better engineers, professors in the US than Turkey, large presence in STEM academia and industry. Unlike Turkey.

not even close

for example SELCUK BAYRAKTAR who developed TB-2 and AKINCI UCAVs which are the best in their own class in the World

He studied at Massachusetts Institute of Technology but He prefered to work in Turkiye instead of in The US

only a few examples

1 -- Aziz Sancar is a Turkish molecular biologist specializing in DNA repair, cell cycle checkpoints, and circadian clock. In 2015, he was awarded the Nobel Prize in Chemistry

Professor Aziz Sancar is working at the University of North Carolina School of Medicine

2 -- Asuman Özdağlar is a Turkish Professor which studied at Massachusetts Institute of Technology and In 2017, She was named the new head of the Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science in The US

3-- Turkish Astrobiologist Betül Kacar is a faculty member at Harvard University
She was awarded NASA Young Investigator

4-- Gözde Durmuş is a Turkish scientist and geneticist. She is currently Assistant Professor of Radiology at Stanford University. Her research focuses on nanotechnology and micro-technology

In 2015, MIT Technology Review listed her under the category of pioneers in the magazine's list of 35 Innovators under 35

5-- Bilge Demirköz is a Turkish professor . She studied at Massachusetts Institute of Technology and She won Joel Matthew Orloff Award and She was a postdoctoral fellow at CERN ( The European Organization for Nuclear Research )

6-- Feryal Özel is a Turkish astrophysicist which studied at Harvard University
She is widely recognized for her contributions to the field of neutron stars, black holes, and magnetars.
She is a member and modeling lead of the Event Horizon Telescope that released the first image of a black hole.

She is the Science and Technology Definition Team Community Co-Chair for the Lynx X-ray Observatory NASA Large Mission Concept Study

7 -- Özlem Türeci is Turkish physician, scientist and entrepreneur.
She co-founded the biotechnology company BioNTech, which in 2020 developed the first messenger RNA-based vaccine approved for use against COVID-19

There are tens of thousands of Turkish Engineers in American and European Universities

Tbh, Turkey has more defence projects ongoing that all of Western Europe combined. Turkey as a Nation is prioritizing their defence industry and military while Western European countries has been becoming more and more anti-military/defence industry (at least up until the Ukraine war). They've all made major cuts to their military and defence projects.

Türkiye has now become one of the few Countries to own air to air missile technology

GOKDOGAN air to air Missile has two-way datalink , lock on after launch , state-of-the-art active RF seeker , unique warhead design for maximum probability of kill , advanced counter-countermeasures (ECCM) , home-on-Jam capability and speed of mach 4+

Turkiye among top 3 Countries in UCAV Technologies with The US and İsrael

BAYKAR develops KIZILELMA unmanned stealth Fighter Jet to dominate the skies

Endurance : 5 Hours
Service ceiling : 40,000 ft
Cruise speed : supersonic 1,4 mach
Payload : 1.5 Tons

-- AESA radar and next-generation avionics, sensor fusion
-- SATCOM
-- Internal weapon stations
-- Stealth flight capability
-- The ability to hide from Radars
-- Aggressive maneuverability with delta canard and vertical stabilizers
-- Smart fleet autonomy equipped with artificial intelligence
-- Turbofan engine

-- SOM-J stealth Cruise Missile
-- GOKHAN Air to Air Missile

Stealth platform KIZILELMA to carry air to air missiles in the internal weapon stations for stealth flight capability

First detect the enemy Fighter Jets . then press the kill button and game over in BVR combat

Even 20 km is impressive when you realize the KIZILELMA has already killed the 4th gen Fighters Rafale , SU-35 , Eurofighter , F-16V , F-15 a couple times before you visually IDed him

The first flight in 2023
