It's not really concept of this gun. Altay have 1 remote controlled 12.7mm, and two 7.62mm (one co-axial) mg for the suppressing ınfantry. But for the miniguns It's much more suitable to use on aircrafts because you are fast and can't aim long time to enemy under your aircraft properly. So you must sent much more bullets compare to a standart MG. But for the most of the land vehicles, -especially tracked ones- you don't really have this kind of problem...

For example US puts miniguns only fast attack vehicles, boats and MRAPs that operated by special forces. Because in most of the scenarios they have to attack fast and without any support of the vehicles that have large-caliber guns (IFVs, tanks, howitzers et all) so they have to get the fire superiority. The all other ones are located on helicopters...
