No i am serious. :)

i am always skeptical, especially after july 15, everything possible in my eyes.

You should not let your skepticism becoming paranoia.

I just happen to be an interested student in Middle Eastern Affairs. I know as much about Egypt, for instance, as Turkey, in terms of their modern history and current political struggles.

My MA advisor happened to be a person with expertise on the region and was able to speak several regional languages. So, I was trained under him and completed my MA thesis.

Political islamists are always bide their time when they are weak.

This is the key. Religious politics appears to be good at biding their time because ideology is passed through generations. What has not been accomplished by this generation due to structural constraints (such as secular constitution or army) can be accomplished by the next one.

So, you can think of it as a succession. But, the ideology, being religious, never changes. It cannot be reformed or assimilated, given that the source codes of religions are not held by men.

That explains the almost stubborn vitality of centuries old religious ideologies with little to no reform.

I am not a fan of feminists or liberals, however I watched the original video of the protest and there is no evidence that they were trying to "protest against the ezan". The level of retardation that these Islamists posses is beyond belief. If there was no police there they would probably start beheading those women.

We need massive joint military and police action against all Islamic Radicals and extreme Liberals. Both these groups cause nothing but division.

They were whistling against police who just used force onto
them.
How could you decide that they were whistling against Ezan ? They weren't able to notice and to hear to Ezan because of protesting. Protesters own noice oppressed environment. Just provacation furthermore I have seen first time those fundementalists dare attacking to somebodies in Istanbul. Obviously provacation .

:cheesy::cheesy::cheesy: whom do I try to explain?
Try to be better than you are and look at the Twitter video then you can find that Nurettin gay was taking video.
Video where bearded fundementalists in shalvars and sarık were protesting against feminists.

And it was obvious police took force against them. Even just in previous page some Arabs commented it.
İf people didn't blew the whistle on , claiming that they did is obvious provacation. I am neither LGBT nor anti-Kemalist communist but I have to support their rights indeed government has to! Of course those people would vote for CHP if other parties isolated them.

Why didn't this infidel quit his speech and meeting? Shame on you .What a hypocrite you are!

either you are blind or deaf!

If you argue so, the AKP police was also disrespecting the religious call because they were also not listening even a bit and making noise.

In such a situation, do you think people would be able to notice something that repeats several times a day? It has already become part of your daily life; I do not think secular people even notice it.

I do not think even the board meetings in industries close to AKP will not take notice of it when in session.

Why so sensitive?

We have been totally waiting for your involvement. Now we can immensely mislead the subjects.

I know its not my place to talk but just wanted to say few things bc of my familiarity with Turkey via one family connection and also a similar thing happened in Pakistan as well.

Firstly, about the Turkish video---I saw a longer video where it showed right before the call to prayer started. In that video, the crowd was relatively calm (normal crowd noise, but nothing unusual). However, as soon as Azaan (Pakistani pronunciation of Ezan) came on---slowly the feminist/liberal/secular crowd started getting louder and louder---soon after cheering started, waving the LGBT flag, dancing, horns, and etc etc (we all saw it)

It was a clear disrespect to Azaan on purpose (in "defiance" or "rebellion" against Turkish traditional/ancestral religion of Islam). These feminists/liberals destroyed western values and traditions....and now they are slowly seeping into Muslim world. Sh*t like this happened in Pakistan too (where these secular feminist "women marchers" posted disrespectful signs and placards against Islam and our traditions instead of talking about women issues like domestic violence, financial security, women education etc etc). It was a big scandal in Pakistan as well (google "aurat march signs" if you want)

Whether you are secular or religious, you should stand against the increasing westernization/liberalization of your social culture where premarital sex becomes normal, religious values go down, birth rates fall, respect of elders goes down the drain, female immodesty becomes normal, your own people become against your own country (liberals talking in support of Turkey's enemies bc of "armenian genocide" for example or Pakistani liberals talking sh*t against Pakistan Army etc) and so on. Such uncontrolled secular-liberal hedonistic culture has had disastrous impact on Western countries. I am sure none of us would want the same for our countries (whether its Turkey, Pakistan, Iran, or whatever). Its not about religion or secularism----its about national respect and respect for your traditions/culture that have been passed down to you by your ancestors for hundreds of years.

For example, I just today read a paper by this secular Turkish academic who specializes in "secularization studies" and he proudly wrote a whole paper where he happily bragged how "God is dying in Turkey" and one of his examples were that it is increasingly becoming normal for Turkish girls to have sex outside of marriage with multiple guys at young age. He even wrote how it was increasingly becoming normal for foreigners to find easy "sex partners" among local Turkish girls just like it happens in Brazil or Thailand etc. Now I don't claim to know much about Turkish culture, but to me---it comes off as a disrespectful thing to be "happy" about. Like hey look look, we are so liberal and progressive that other people from abroad come on holidays and f*ck our girls and its becoming normal yaayyyyy....like what the heck? Its not about religion or secularism (that's personal choice)----its about national respect and respect for your traditions/culture that have been passed down to you by your ancestors for hundreds of years.

İt's just your opinion but there are a lot of witnesses who claim that Azan started at the same time when police stopped masses.
Couple journalists wrote articles about that.
